Chris Christie Faces Off With Cubs Fan For Calling Him A Hypocrite [VIDEO]

0

Chris Christie seems to be in the news an awful lot these days. First, he closes down New Jersey’s beaches over the Fourth of July and is caught sun bathing with his family all by their lonesome on a deserted beach at one of the Governor’s homes and now this. Christie evidently went to a Cubs-Brewers game. While loaded up with nachos, he got in the face of Chicago Cubs fan who had called him a hypocrite. Nice thuggish scene there. All caught on video.

A video shows Christie leaning menacingly right into the man’s face and talking to him. It looked like a very heated confrontation. I would say Christie was very angry and didn’t give a flying crap about what anyone thought of his actions. He was in Milwaukee at Miller Stadium yesterday when this happened. The man’s name is Brad Joseph and he had this to say, “When he initially was going up the stairs I yelled his name. He was quite a bit past me, and 30 feet away I yelled his name and told him that he sucked… I called him a hypocrite because I thought it needed to be said,” Joseph said. That’s when Christie turned around and decided the guy needed his personal touch.

Christie was being ‘razzed’ by some in the crowd at the stadium. That probably also set him off. He’s known for his really hot temper in New Jersey. “Yeah, you’re a big shot,” Christie could be heard slamming the guy. He then stood up and walked away down the stairs to his seat with his nachos still intact. “I appreciate that,” Joseph replied as Christie retreated.

Friends sitting with Joseph asked what Christie said and he related it to them. One woman can be heard saying there was a Secret Service agent standing right behind Joseph as this transpired. The video was taken by WISN journalist Ben Hutchinson and then subsequently posted to Twitter where it went viral. Hutchinson is a relative of Joseph’s. How embarrassing for Christie.

“He turned around back towards me and got in my face for what seemed like a long time, but was probably only about 30 seconds or a minute. (He) was yelling at me. First he told me, ‘Why don’t you have another beer?’ which I thought was a decent come back, and I thought that was kind of funny. Then he started calling me a tough guy.” People were laughing at Christie while all this was transpiring.

Christie’s son works for the Milwaukee Brewers as well. Chris was also booed at a Mets game in New York earlier this month. He caught a foul ball while sitting in the third row in the third inning without even getting out of his seat. The fans heckled him for it. He got some very awkward high-fives for making the left-handed catch. He also got an enthusiastic handshake from a friend and a slap on the back for it. Christie then turned and gave the ball to a child who was sitting in the rows behind him.

It’s rumored that Christie will be segueing into sports radio after leaving office. He can’t run again and even if he could, he’s so unpopular, there’s no way he would be elected. His heavy handed tactics and his strange mixture of leftist and conservative politics have really irked his constituents there. In one memorable airing recently, he was called “fat-ass” on live radio. Looks like that’s going to be a rough one for Christie if he goes that route.

It would seem that people had a hard time taking Christie seriously getting in this guy’s face with nachos in hand. He’s shown how you can beclown yourself in a very short period while still in office. Sucks to be him.
