Matthews Compares Trump to Ethiopian Dictator… Suggests He Murder Kushner [VIDEO]

MSNBC’s Chris Wallace is in need of some serious meds and a straight jacket. Seriously. Yesterday, after President Trump’s two tweets slapping at Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, Wallace said some incredibly disturbing things on Hardball. He compared the President to communist Ethiopian dictator Mengistu Haile Mariam. He also told Trump to channel Benito Mussolini and have his son-in-law Jared Kushner murdered. Yeah, Wallace has gone unhinged. He reiterated that he believes Kushner and his wife, Ivanka Trump, are akin to the monstrous sons of Saddam Hussein. He has said that numerous times before as well. Last time I looked, neither Jared or Ivanka had raped, tortured or murdered people. That’s called perspective, Chris.

Wallace started out gleefully reporting on the chaos in the Trump administration caused by Secretary of State Rex Tillerson being stonewalled and blocked from doing his job by those around him. Matthews called it a ‘meltdown’. I call it an insurrection. “It’s a far cry from that love feast we watched a few weeks ago, which is right out of Mengistu’s government in Ethiopia with all the people bowing to the president. Apparently all is not well in paradise,” Matthews quipped. That right there is beyond the pale. Trump is not a murderous communist dictator and there are plenty around him that stand up to him when they don’t agree with Trump. I have yet to see anyone lined up against a wall and shot for it. Just sayin’.

Then Matthews went on his Hussein kick. He told The Washington Post’s Ashley Parker that he’s “allowed to have opinions and one of my opinions was that nepotism is a bad thing in government,” evidently as evidence by duo of Jared and Ivanka:

You put Uday and Qusay in your government and you’re going to have a problem with everybody else in the government because nobody can fight with them. Nobody can challenge them and, in the end, the son-in-law is always right because he can always to go his father-in-law or his wife and say they were mean to me.

Next in line was a jab at Tillerson and his role in foreign policy. Matthews commented that “[t]he power seems to have gone to the son-in-law” and thus the Trump’s are “the Romanovs.” Again, that’s just ridiculous. He continued: “Is it a royal family instead of a Democratic or a Republican form of government? Or is it a family running the government? Is it Ivanka and Jared and the President sitting around in the White House upstairs ruling the world?”

After that, Wallace turned to New York Times columnist Frank Bruni and said that it might behoove Trump to take a page out of Mussolini’s playbook, which was to murder his son-in-law. “So the son-in-law — you know, one good thing Mussolini did was execute his son-in-law. I mean, I’m talking about Ciano,” he jokingly argued. Not funny and it’s not only creepy, it’s evil. Bruni told him that he should “be careful here.” That’s an understatement. “That was an extreme measure. But this was — this is a strange situation,” Matthews concluded before giving way to Bruni.

This is what passes for news in the mainstream media these days. Calls for the death of a sitting President and his family. Just abhorrent. Wallace should be fired over this, but he won’t be. MSNBC loves it. More fake news and what’s worse, incitement to murder.
