Folks! There is sign of intelligence in Hollywood after all! Although it might just be he is a closet conservative in Hollywood (there are a lot of those) This could also be code word for, “I’m common-sense conservative, but I will keep quiet so I’m not fired like Tim Allen.” You know what I mean?
That past couple of years have been pretty rough for liberals…
They’re just so busy trying to figure out which bathroom they should use while staging mock beheadings of the President for their ISIS tribute videos and photo shoots, that they have found no time for common sense in their lives. This is especially true however, for Hollywood.
I’ve often wondered what makes any so-called celebrity fit to pontificate upon any subject, either political or social. These people are nothing but chameleons, who make their living pretending to be someone else. I feel bad for them in a way, they are so busy forcing themselves to feel what ever they are told to feel that when it comes to sharing how they themselves feel…it all comes out as a confused mess, and they are obviously looking each time to give a dramatic delivery of their ‘opinions’. Then they stamp it with their Hollywood VIP status and call it a day like they did the world a favor by sharing their political beliefs. By sharing of course, I mean shoving it down our throats. Feelings…not facts, that’s their thing.
However, here is a celebrity who just gets it.
In a recent interview with Fox News, the Transformers: The Last Knight star said “I don’t necessary think it’s important to tell people how to vote.”
“That’s one thing I don’t do. I don’t like to get involved politically at all. Nobody cares what I think politically,” Duhamel said.
If only other celebrities would take his cue. We might actually like Hollywood more, right?
The 2016 presidential election cycle saw scores of celebrities starring in get-out-the-vote videos, hitting the campaign trail, and taking to social media to persuade the American electorate to vote for their preferred candidate.
Liberal Hollywood elites have spent months pouring their money and manpower into documentary filmmaker-turned-politician John Ossoff’s bid to win a Georgia Congressional race. In April, President Donald Trump called the upcoming June 20 runoff election between Ossoff and his Republican candidate, Karen Handel, “Hollywood VS Georgia.”
Dems failed in Kansas and are now failing in Georgia. Great job Karen Handel! It is now Hollywood vs. Georgia on June 20th.

Just last year Mark Wahlberg, comedian actor said that celebrities should be keeping their political opinions to themselves, stating that they are “out of touch” with reality. Also in this pack of Hollywood hope is Gene Simmons, the frontman for band KISS, who said “I think celebrities should basically shut their pie holes and do what they do best-act, sing, tap dance, juggle balls, and all that kind of stuff.”
Now Duhamel has joined the posse of common sense celebrities with a voice and agrees with that sentiment. He says celebrities are “misinformed” if they truly think that people are into them because they care about their political opinions.
“Anybody in entertainment who thinks people care what they think politically are really misinformed,” he said. “That’s one thing I stay away from. I stay away from politics because nobody cares what I think.”
Bingo! Please pass that along.
