Girl Who SHOT Her Service Dog DEAD While Laughing On Facebook LIVE – Now Dead Herself…

0

REALLY? All I hear are excuses…

It’s bad enough we have cruel people wandering around killing random people, but now animal killings.  Whether you have animals or not, taking a life of an innocent animal is just outrageous.  Upsetting is not even the word that comes to my mind during this story.

One thing is for sure, she couldn’t handle the heat that she dished during the event that occurred just a week in a half prior to her court date…

Police in North Carolina are now investigating the possible suicide of Army veteran, Marinna Rollins, who was charged with shooting her service dog, all while laughing and carrying on like she was at a party and having a good time. She even filmed the whole ordeal on Facebook Live.

Yes, that awful event streamed live for the world to see. There was no way she was going to get away with it.

It’s now been reported that she killed herself just days before her trial was to go to court. Not much information was shared on the details of what had happened, but police say they were called to the apartment early one morning just after 3 A.M. and when they arrived they found her body. Her friends were having a hard time contacting her, their suspicion led to the initial discovery of her body.

Rollins and her 25-year-old boyfriend Jarren Heng were charged last month with cruelty to animals after investigators say they tied the dog to a tree and shot it multiple times with a rifle.

Cumberland County District Attorney Clark Reaves said the two could be heard laughing on a video recording they made as the dog was killed. That video was later posted to Facebook.

Rollins’ suicide comes just nine days before the two were scheduled to appear back in court. Animals rights activists had scheduled a protest for outside the courthouse the day of the hearing, May 16.

Court documents show Rollins received a medical retirement from the Army in January.

Rollins’ family said she struggled with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder after she had served in South Korea. The dog was adopted by Rollins’ estranged husband, Matt Dyer who had left the dog behind with her before he packed up for deployment to South Korea for a year.

‘I felt like her having to take care of Huey would be good for her and would be good for Huey,’ Dyer said, according to WNCN.

During her time with the dog who was known as Huey, Rollins had him certified as her emotional support dog, and gave him a new name, Camboui.

It was a fateful day in April when authorities say Rollins and her boyfriend took Camboui to a wooded area and shot him dead. They reportedly tied the service dog up to a tree and then while laughing filmed Rollins shooting the dog.

After Rollins shot him, her boyfriend asked if he could shoot poor Camboui too, and he did. Five times in quick succession.

In the video, Rollins can also be heard saying ‘It’s been real … I love you, you’re my puppy, you’re a good puppy, but…

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office and Cumberland County Animal Control said they found multiple videos of the killing and also text messages talking about it.

A Justice for Cam Facebook site sprang up almost immediately, and a screen grab purporting to be from Rollins’

Facebook page shows someone who appears to be Rollins saying ‘Great last day with the pooch! Sad he has to go, but he will be much happier where he is heading off to :)’

When confronted by Animal Control officers after the killing, the couple said that the dog cost $75 a week to feed and had some health issues.

Heng was serving in an Army Special Operations Command Unit at the time of his arrest.

One thing that gets under my skin is animal cruelty. Something so many people underestimate just because they’re animals, but not realizing that they too are living creatures that have a life, families and those who actually are willing to care and love them.

This woman and her family have nothing but excuses to give, but if you were pre-posting status’ that was wishing well on his new life, you had already premeditated the event you had planned for this dog. Another thing that rocks my socks is that it’s a pitbull.

As we all know pitbulls already have a bad reputation and are always stereotyped due to the people that raise them to be vicious, those who breed them to make money, those who breed them for looks, those that have them only to abandon them, mistreat them and take away their lives.

But yet there’s still so many who have a pitbull and raise them with no problems because they actually love and care for them. The fact that this cruel couple would do something so horrific to this animal is just beyond me. I would call this selfish and cruel because to me, I honestly feel like they did it just for fun as hard as it is to say that but that’s the way I feel. Such a sad ending, not for the couple but for Huey. May your little soul finally be at peace.
