She REGRETS IT! Chelsea Made HUGE Mistake In Trying To INSULT President Trump!

Former first daughter, Chelsea Clinton has been more active on social media lately, calling out the President for the current water crisis. When She tweeted out Wednesday that the Trump administration has created a “dangerous” water situation, it back fires.

Chelsea Clintons tweet reads:

Clinton received hundreds of responses to her post, many with a similar reaction: “Baffling when libs slam failings of same agency they think is the only thing standing between us and the apocalypse.”

Clinton’s response:

We don’t believe she meant to, but Clinton pretty much accuses the Obama administration of not being “science based and public health-focused.”

The STAT article she linked blamed the Obama administration for not doing their due diligence to change regulations regarding lead levels in the soil:

“During the last two years of the Obama administration, staff at the Environmental Protection Agency assured…local officials in…communities nationwide that they would soon issue new, more stringent guidelines for assessing the risk of lead contamination in soil. Those guidelines were expected by many to lower the threshold deemed dangerous for children and compel owners of contaminated properties to fund cleanup efforts. The effort was aimed at cutting the allowable level of lead at some of the nation’s most contaminated waste sites in half,” Sheila Kaplan writes for STAT.

She continues: “But in the final days of the Obama administration, the EPA instead issued an internal memo — obtained by STAT — that sidestepped the issue of a specific new threshold for acceptable lead levels. … It did not…lower the threshold for soil cleanup to one that would translate into a blood level of 5 micrograms per deciliter, down from the current level of 10, as was expected.”

“The memo shocked outside experts and even some EPA officials, who privately expressed alarm about the issue,” Kaplan recounts.

Dr. David Bellinger, a Harvard Medical School professor who has served as an EPA adviser and who has studied the effects of lead on children told STAT: “There’s scientific medical consensus that adverse effects are occurring at level 5 or below. The cleanup target ought to be health-based, and based on the most current scientific information.”

Many Twitter users responded to Clinton’s tweet informing her that she was taking jabs at the Obama administration and not Trump’s, like she had intended.

Many Political observers have noted Clinton’s increased awareness of current events on social media, some speculate that she might be running for a political office in the near future.

Clinton addressed such rumors with Variety this week saying, she is not currently looking to take a position in any political office but she is leaving the door open.

“I am not running for public office,” she said. “I really am constantly surprised by the stories of me running for, fill in the blank: Congress, Senate, City Council, the presidency.”

She added: “If someone steps down or something changes, I’ll then ask and answer those questions at that time.”

Twitter broke out in song and dance over Clinton’s claim to not be pursuing any political office:
