North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un has not kept secret his hate for the United States. The pudgy leader with a bad haircut may be fun to laugh at, but he is very serious about getting his hands on nukes and destroying America. Kim Jong Un is not one to be messed with. He is well known for killing anyone who defies him.
He is responsible for purging whole groups of citizens of his own country who he suspects disobey him. He has also arranged for the assassinations of top officials of North Korean. Kim Jong Un’s recent victim of his rage was his own half-brother, Kim Jong Nam, who was killed at an airport in Malaysia. Now Kim Jong Un is targeting the United States and is desperate to get his hands on weapons of mass destruction.
Lester Holt from NBC News recently interviewed Thae Yong-ho, North Korea’s former deputy ambassador to the United Kingdom. Thae managed to defect from the North Korean government to the West with his family last year. He now is warning anyone who will listen, that Kim Jong Un is a very dangerous man and does mean to nuke the U.S.
Thae warns America to not brush aside Kim’s threats,
“If Kim Jong Un has nuclear weapons and ICBMs, he can do anything,” Ho said. “So, I think the world should be ready to deal with this kind of person.”
He also added that “Kim Jong Un is a man who can do anything beyond the normal imagination” and “the final and the real solution to the North Korean nuclear issue is to eliminate Kim Jong Un from the post.”
Thae tells NBC that Kim is obsessed with getting nukes. Kim saw that Iraq’s Saddam Hussein and Libya’s Moammar Gadhafi both abandoned their countries’ when their weapons of mass destruction programs were overthrown by Western-backed forces. Kim is afraid that will happen to him, and is planning to strike first. “That’s why Kim Jong Un strongly believes that only a nuclear weapon can guarantee his rule,” Thae said.
The United States Defense Secretary James Mattis said North Korea “has got to be stopped”, and Rex Tillerson, Secretary of State said the military taking action on North Korea is “on the table.”
Donald Trump can add keeping an eye on Kim to the huge pile of stuff to do that he has on his desk. In the meantime let’s hope, Kim’s chance of actually getting his murderous hands on a nuke is as completely ridiculous as his hairdo.
