BOOOM! Putin BREAKS SILENCE On U.S. Election BURNS The Left In Just FOUR Words!

At the International Arctic Forum press conference on Thursday, Russian President Putin was asked whether Russia interfered in the 2016 U.S. presidential election. Putin denied having any involvement in the rumors. Putin mistook the president he quoted, but his message was still clear. Speaking in Russian with a translator interpreting his words, Putin answered, “As Ronald Reagan once said, Watch my lips, no.” The quote actually came from former President George H.W. Bush.

The quote wasn’t too far off considering it was given by Bush, who at the time was Reagan’s vice president. The famous quote was first said in 1988 when Bush told Americans that tax there wouldn’t be tax increases, “Read my lips, no new taxes.”

Although the quote was not perfect, Putin left no room for doubt on his answer. “All those things are fictional, illusory and provocations, lies. All these are used for domestic American political agendas. The anti-Russian card is played by different political forces inside the United States to trade on that and consolidate their positions inside,” Putin said.

Putting the rumors aside, Putin hopes the United States and Russia can work closer together.

“We said on numerous occasions and I reiterate that we are confident … and know for sure that opinion polls in the United States show that very many people are … friendly towards the Russian Federation,” the Russian President said.

Putin regards the allegations that the Russian government meddled with the 2016 election as a huge slap in the face.

“In some quarters, that would be considered an act of war,” he said. But, putting the bigger picture into perspective, Putin says he’d like to have a good political relationship with the U.S.

“I’d like to tell these people that we perceive and regard the United States as a great power with which we want to establish good partnership relations,” Putin added. Putin also said that he would also like a chance to meet with President Trump in Finland, which will be taking Leadership of the Arctic Council soon.
