What Do You Call Cutting 20% of Federal Employees? A Good Start!

0

Donald Trump was elected because America wants it’s country back and Trump promised to do just that!

Both Democrats and Republicans have spent decades spending like drunk sailors. (No offense to drunk sailors!)

Trump has handed out huge marching orders to his new team: Cut…cut..cut! 10% spending cuts and a 20% slash of federal workers. Well that is a good start, but 50% would probably be best in most areas of the Federal Government!

The Washington Examiner notes:

Insiders said that the spending reductions in some departments could go as high as 10 percent and staff cuts to 20 percent, numbers that would rock Washington if he follows through. At least two so-called “landing teams” in Cabinet agencies have relayed the call for cuts as part of their marching orders to shrink the flab in government. The cuts would target discretionary spending, not mandated programs such as Medicare or Social Security, the sources said.

We enjoy an incredible standard of living in this great country and we have a lot of wealth. Our Federal coffers flow with money that most cannot even imagine!

But the Federal system is infested with waste, fraud and abuse! I have no issue with giving the government what they need to run the country, but both sides of the aisle have wasted trillions of dollars over the years. Government is way too big!

I am hoping that Donald Trump cuts more and more! I have always thought there was an easy solution. Cut ’til it hurts and make the government entities find their waste, fraud and abuse to fill the gap!

The 10th Amendment says that the Federal Government is ONLY supposed to have their noses in a few places, and the rest is left to the states. If we trimmed the federal level to where it should be, we could save a WHOLE lot of wasted money!

C’mon Trump!!! Keep cutting!!!
