President-elect, Donald Trump, who once mentioned that his favorite book was the Bible, repeatedly insisted that if he were elected, people would be saying “Merry Christmas” if they wanted to, instead of the politically correct “Happy Holidays.” I guess he is a little traditional; nothing wrong with tradition.
“The word Christmas,” Trump said on the campaign trail a couple months ago at the Values Voter Summit. “I love Christmas. I love Christmas. You go to stores, you don’t see the word Christmas. It says happy holidays all over. I say, ‘Where’s Christmas?’ I tell my wife, ‘Don’t go to those stores.’”
“I want to see Christmas. I want to see Christmas.’”
“Other people can have their holidays but Christmas is Christmas,” he carried on. “I want to see Merry Christmas. Remember the expression Merry Christmas? You don’t see it anymore! You’re going to see it if I get elected, I can tell you right now.”
Merry Christmas, have an amazing day!

He also told Yellowhammer Radio that he actually goes out of his way to say “Christmas.”
“There’s an assault on anything having to [do]with Christianity,” he stated.
“They don’t want to use the word ‘Christmas’ anymore at department stores. There’s always lawsuits and unfortunately, a lot of those lawsuits are won by the other side.”
That is pretty ridiculous if you think about it. If it’s that offensive then do away with the holiday altogether. It is, after all Chrisitan holiday, and if liberals are anti-Christian, it seems like the next step would have been to get rid of the holiday season.
