If there’s anybody funnier than Tim Allen I don’t know who they are. Not only is he funny but he’s especially insightful about culture. He’s a very unique man. He’s an entertainer who also happens to be an outspoken conservative, and he successful in a business that considers conservatives to be “the enemy.”
Alan was recently on The Kelly File and called out those in Hollywood who are bullying people who happen to be supporters of Donald Trump.
“What I find is odd in Hollywood is that they didn’t like Trump because he was a bully. But if you had any kind of inkling that you are for Trump, you got bullied for doing that. And it gets a little bit hypocritical to me.”
I got a chuckle out of one of Allen’s first comments when he said “I’m not a spokesman for Hollywood.” That’s certainly true, but I think he probably should be. He’d be a whole lot better than the idiots who act like they are spokespeople for Hollywood. Given a choice between Tim Allen or Beyoncé Allen wins hands down.
The only quibble I have with Tim Allen is that I don’t think Hollywood is “a little bit hypocritical.” They’re are the poster people for hypocritical, but then again they are Democrats so one should expect that. They’re hypocrites about everything.
Let’s take Beyoncé and Jay-Z for example. They stand in front of crowds of fans and denounce Donald Trump for his “mistreatment of women.” Yet they have no problem supporting Hillary Clinton, a woman who has spent 30 years enabling a husband who is a world-class groper and rapist and who personally harassed the women her husband assaulted. And then there’s the lyrics of their songs which, for the most part, aren’t fit to print in a family-oriented blog. Especially their comments about women and minorities.
But nobody bats an eyelash about that.
And then there’s Leonardo DiCaprio. DiCaprio fancies himself to be “an environmentalist.” He takes every opportunity he can to get up on a soapbox and tell us were destroying the earth with fossil fuels.
Here’s Leonardo’s boat.
That boat burns more gas in an hour than my 11-year-old gas guzzling car burns in a year.
And if Leo is going to go to “environmental conference,” he commutes in one of these.
People like Leonardo DiCaprio have convinced me that “climate change” is a bunch of hooey. If Leonardo really believed that “climate change” was real and was a threat to our very existence he’d modify his lifestyle.
How about having an “environmental conference” over the Internet? Businesses do that all the time, there’s very sophisticated software available that and you can conference thousands of people all from the comfort of their own home. Did I mention a teleconference has zero carbon emissions?
That’s just three examples of Hollywood’s hypocrisy. There are tens of thousands more just like them. I’ll take Tim Allen or Donald Trump all day over those fools.
