A mother residing in Pennsylvania became so enraged with jealousy that she felt her only way out of the bizarre situation was to end the 17-month-old babies life by smothering him to death. After the dirty deed was done, she then texted videos of the boy’s body to his father during a fight.
Christian Clark, 21, has been officially charged with criminal homicide in the death of Andre Price III.
On top of her son’s death, Clark also faces charges of attempted homicide after allegedly trying to smother her two-year-old daughter Angel.
This so called “mother” killed Andre Price III by smashing his face into the bedding of an air mattress. She then tried to do the same to Angel on Tuesday, police stated.
Authorities reported that Clark sent a video around 10pm that displayed the two children lying face down on the mattress to her boyfriend, during a three-hour fight that took place over text messages.
‘Ah, look Angel is still alive and sweating,’ Clark is heard snickering on the video. ‘Your son on the other hand is not even breathing.’
Price, who had just left the apartment for work at 2pm, then responded: ‘Send it to the cops post it to [Facebook] idc anymore you ruined my life.’
The messages first began around 8.25pm that night, when Clark accused Price of cheating on her, according to the police affidavit. She then began to tell him that she didn’t want the children at her apartment as her texts becoming more and more hostile.
‘Ya kids ain’t safe here,’ she wrote in one text. ‘I don’t want them here. Answer me or I’m going to jail for child endangerment.’
Then at 10.01pm Clark told Price: ‘I’m killing them’, adding the emoji face that is laughing so hard it has tears coming out of its eyes. Clark then sent Price pictures of both of the children face down on the mattress, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
‘I wasn’t even gonna send you videos but pretty sure ya son is legit dead,’ she wrote, the affidavit states.’
‘I’m going to jail either way,’ she then adds, ‘Hope it was worth it.’
Authorities said Price rarely responded during the entire exchange, at one point telling Clark he wasn’t coming to the house and to ‘leave them alone’. But just after 11pm, when Clark texted Price ‘I really snapped this time’, he told her to try and wake their son up.
‘I said hold him,’ Price texted her.
‘It’s okay I’m dialing 911,’ she wrote.
‘You need to if he dead,’ Price then replied.
‘I am,’ Clark responded. ‘Sorry I did this. I didn’t mean to.’
Andre III was unresponsive when police arrived at Clark’s McKeesport apartment building around 11.13pm that night.
He was transported to a nearby hospital and was pronounced dead at 11.40pm.
Clark initially lied and told investigators that her son was completly healthy and had no known medical conditions.
She later changed her story and said that she had discovered Andre III lying unresponsive on the air mattress in the living room.
As detectives discovered the text messages and videos showing Andre III’s ‘lifeless body’ on Price’s cell phone, Clark’s story began to change.
The mother admitted to investigators that she’d crushed the boy’s face ‘into the bedding of the air mattress’ for one minute, according to the affidavit.
Authorities say that Clark admitted she was ‘responsible for the child’s death’.
Clark now resides in the Allegheny County Jail. Thankfully, her daughter, Angel, is expected to be okay.
