Our own Samuel Wurzelbacher, ‘Joe the Plumber’, has announced that he has accepted the job of “Vice President for public relations” for the Liberty Alliance news conglomerate.
Liberty Alliance is coalition of 80 conservative websites and news organizations that includes the Minuteman News, Allen West Republic and JM Media. It leverages the power of new media to promote traditional values and to advancing Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
The combined news sites draw 2 million page views a day to the conservative organization.
“I have turned down a lot of offers throughout the years, but when it came to Liberty Alliance, it was a no-brainer,” said Joe.
In 2012, Joe Wurzelbacher started this professional news site, JoeForAmerica.com, has been a loyal member of Liberty Alliance since it’s inception.
Joe made huge waves in 2008 when he confronted then-presidential hopeful Barack Obama on the Ohio campaign trail in Ohio. The moment was caught on video and instantly overtook the news cycle.
He asked Obama about his how his tax policy would effect small business. Obama’s responded with, “when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.”
The McCain campaign brought him in to make several appearances in campaign events in Ohio. McCain often referenced “Joe the Plumber” in campaign speeches and in the final presidential debate.
Joe went on to run for congress, winning the 2012 primary but losing to the Democrat incumbent.
Joe has since been involved in a number of conservative projects as a prominent conservative activist, commentator, author and motivational speaker.
He also wrote a book titled “Joe the Plumber: Fighting for the American Dream.” The book addresses Joe’s ideas concerning American values.

“I’m getting ready to buy a company that makes 250 to 280 thousand dollars a year. Your new tax plan’s going to tax me more, isn’t it?”, Joe asked Obama.
