Trump Goes To Flooded LA; Clinton, Obama Can’t Be Bothered [Video]

The Louisiana flood is the worst natural disaster since 2012, but Clinton and Obama can’t be bothered. Clinton needs to rest after a busy 3-day work week and Obama is too busy golfing and enjoying his family vacation in Martha’s Vineyard; neither one of them have time to deal with such a thing. Donald Trump and Governor Mike Pence, on the other hand, visited the state and area and offered their support to the flood disaster victims.

Republican nominee Donald Trump visited Louisiana Friday as the state is experiencing massive flooding. Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and President Barack Obama have yet to visit the state.

Trump visited Louisiana with his running mate Indiana Gov. Mike Pence to offer his support to the flood victims. Tens of thousands of residents have been displaced and at least 13 people have been killed in the flooding. The GOP nominee was greeted warmly when he visited Baton Rouge. “We knew you’d be here Mr. Trump,” a supporter yelled out from a crowd.

Trump and Pence also helped unpack a truck with supplies. The two have visited homes and a church damaged by the flooding. Trump told one man who had a damaged home, “you’re going to rebuild. It’s going to be so beautiful.”

Clinton has not visited Louisiana and wrote on Facebook, “I just got off the phone with Governor John Bel Edwards in Louisiana. The flooding there is bigger than anyone expected—more than 40,000 homes have been damaged and more than 100,000 people have been affected.”

How nice of Hillary to call, at least she showed some effort, right? That’s more than she did for Ambassador Chris Stevens and the other Americans in Benghazi on 9/11 in 2012.

We should give Hillary a break, afterall, she had a busy campaign week and needed to rest up for her fundraiser with Cher in Massachusetts.

As for Obama, come on now – it’s not like he’s criticized any president for doing something similar is it? Oh wait. In 2005, he branded President Bush as “uncaring” and “racist” for not touching down during a flyover two days after Hurricane Katrina. But that was different, wasn’t it?

Here was Obama’s remarks back in 2005:

“I can say from personal experience how frustrating, how unconscionable it is, that it has been so difficult to get medical supplies to those in need quickly enough,” said Obama according to atranscript still being promoted on the internet.

“Indeed,” he said, “if there’s any bright light that has come out of this disaster, it’s the degree to which ordinary Americans have responded with speed and determination even as their government has responded with unconscionable ineptitude.”

We can talk about it…but Obama…you aren’t even on the ground or NEAR Louisiana. At least President Bush visited the area. Where are you? Oh, that’s right. You’re golfing in Martha’s Vineyard with Larry David, and then you’re attending a fundraiser for Hillary. You can’t be bothered with the worst disaster since 2012. In your OWN words, that would just be “uncaring” and “unconscionable” of a president.

Here’s what Rush Limbaugh had to say about Obama:

“Where’s Obama? Where is he? I know. He’s up in Martha’s Vineyard and he’s playing his record whatever-number round of golf as president. It’s over 300 rounds now. Can’t be bothered.”

“Remember all the grief Bush got for flying over New Orleans and not landing there? Remember the grief Bush got when all he did was fly over in Air Force One? Obama hadn’t even gone, he hadn’t even made any pretense,” Mr. Limbaugh said.

For the worst natural disaster since 2012, Donald Trump and Gov. Pence showed up and assisted flood victims on the ground in Louisiana. That’s more than we can say for President Obama, who is too busy golfing and fundraising for Hillary. In addition, that’s more than we can say for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, who needed her rest so she too could attend her own fundraiser with Cher. At least we know who does have America’s priorities in the right place.
