Simone Manuel became the first-ever African-American female swimmer to win a gold medal in an individual event at the Olympics, then she spoke out about police brutality.

“It means a lot, especially with what is going on in the world today, some of the issues of police brutality,” she said. “This win hopefully brings hope and change to some of the issues that are going on. My color just comes with the territory.”

“The title of black swimmer suggests that I am not supposed to win golds or break records, but that’s not true because I train hard and want to win just like everyone else,” she added.

Another run of the false narrative. Why is she complaining about being black? What does police brutality have to do with a win?

Nothing! The instances of actual police brutality are minuscule. That may not be the mantra that Obama and Black Lives Matter put’s out, but it is the truth!

It is BECAUSE she is black that her win is extra special. She is a first! That is a wonderful thing, not something to run from!

Why didn’t Simone instead bring up Tyshawn Lee? Now THERE is an injustice!

Tyshawn Lee was targeted and lured into the location where he was fatally shot late last year and BlackLivesMatter was silent. Tyshawn was 9 years old.

He was lured and shot in a gang-related violent event and it was not done by a white cop, so his life did not matter to BLM, Obama, or Sharpton. They could not politicize it! It did not fit their narrative. Tyshawn was of no use to BlackLivesMatter.

When will the real lives matter, instead of the thugs?

Listen to the video as Brittany Hughes tells Tyshawn’s story, and tells the truth on the statistics of cops shooting those they should not. BlackLivesMatter is angry at the wrong people.
