Alisyn Camerota, host of CNN’s New Day, says that a man who burglarized a DC fast food restaurant did not commit a crime, he was just being “resourceful”!
The man was caught on video breaking into a Five Guys Burgers and Fries and was cooking up his own burger.
During the morning show segment, her co-hosts, Victor Blackwell and Christi Paul, are in dis-belief as she tries to excuse the crime!
As Blackwell says that it is a crime, Camerota questions, “Is it? It’s a victim-less crime!”
“Who could blame him?” Camerota continues.
“He broke into a Five Guys!” Blackwell exclaims!
You will not believe this mentality. Watch for yourself.
The man had broke into the DC Five Guys early at 3 AM Friday to grab a bite to eat. He had followed a delivery man into the restaurant and waited until he left before committing the crime.
The man then poured himself a fountain drink before firing up the grill and cooking what appears to be a cheeseburger. He also stole a bottled water before leaving.
The burglary happened in March. The Metropolitan Police Department is still looking for the man and released the three-minute video of him hanging out and making himself the burger. The MPD is offering a $1,000 reward for any tips leading to the arrest of the burglar.
The story on CNN aired in April.
It just amazes me that someone so educated could be so stupid! I guess if he broke into her home and cooked himself up some food, she would be OK with that?
Camerota, it is NOT a victim-less crime! When you take something from someone else, no matter how much the value equates to, there is a victim. This mentality that it is just OK for someone to take from someone else is INSANE!
SHAME on you Camerota! You just told all the young people that watched that show it is OK to commit a crime! UTTERLY SHAMEFUL!
Liberal entitlement mentality at it’s finest!
