During Barack Obama’s first term almost half of the 12 deadly shootings in U. S. history took place. Is there a cause-and-effect relationship? I don’t know, but statistics like this are certainly fodder for a great conspiracy theory.
The case can certainly be made that there’s a copycat effect from highly publicized shootings and because the administration and their partners in the media are desperate to find a way to ban gun ownership every shooting gets enormous media coverage. That media coverage always includes calls to limit, rewrite, redefine, or scrap the Second Amendment. Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are in love with the “Australian Solution” to gun violence. That “solution” is to outlaw gun ownership and forcibly collect all guns and run them through a shredder.
The FBI defines mass murder as four or more deaths occurring during the same incident. When you look at the statistics on mass murders the numbers look like this.
That’s right, during Barack Obama’s seven years in office there have been 2 1/2 times as many mass murders as there were during the the previous three president’s combined 28 years in office.
Barack Obama says gun control is his number one priority in the last six months of his administration, and Hillary Clinton has vowed to make gun control the focus of every waking moment of her presidency.
Could they be working with the Democrats-with-bylines in the major media to raise the visibility of these kinds of stories in order to incite more copycat killers? Barack Obama’s refusal to cite Islamic terrorism is a cause for slaughter and a ploy to simply encourage more of it, because the Muslim butchers know they have a free hand for at least the next six months.
How many more acts of terrorism will we see during this long hot summer that are dismissed as “lone wolf attacks of random origin” so that the media can continue to beat the drum on the subject of guns and the “evil NRA”?
Have Barack Obama and the Democratic Party conspired with their media acolytes to see more Americans slaughtered simply so they have a platform to push their gun control agenda?
I don’t think that’s too far out of the question.
