Laila Alawa is a 25-year-old Syrian “refugee” who became an American citizen in 2015. She also has a very interesting job working for Barack Obama. Shortly after being sworn in as an American citizen Barack Obama appointed this very young woman to be part of the Homeland Security Advisory Counsel Subcommittee on Countering Violent Extremism. She’s one of 15 people set on that committee.
The Department of Homeland Security has insisted they don’t have the manpower or the intelligence assets to be able to conduct background checks on the hundreds of thousands of Muslim “refugees” that Barack Obama and Paul Ryan are trying to relocate into the United States and moved to your neighborhood. But surely they have the ability to vet people who are applying for U. S. citizenship.
If the FBI actually did a background check on this “refugee” it was probably done by the fools who interviewed the Orlando nightclub shooter three times and gave him a pat on the back.
Among a small sampling of things Alawa has done include a statement that the 9/11 attacks “change the world for good.” You shouldn’t be surprised, after all, she is an Obama appointee.
Part of becoming a U. S. citizen is to renounce your allegiance your former country and swear allegiance to the United States of America. Here’s what Alawa had to say about that. She noted that she came to the U. S. when she was 10 years old and her family had already left Syria when she was born. “But I will always be Syrian. I will always be from Syria. I will always be of Syria.” And she referred to Syria, a place she’s never been, as her “homeland.”
In 2013 she became a U. S. citizen, she responded to a tweet from Pam Geller who called the Boston Marathon bombings “jihad” with this tweet.
And she certainly has an interesting opinion of America for someone applying for U. S. citizenship.
You get the idea, she is a Barack Obama appointee.
She certainly taken on her new role as an advisor to the Department of Homeland Security seriously.
The subcommittee submitted a report last week to Barack Obama’s DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson. They recommended avoiding the use of Muslim terminology like “sharia” and “jihad” when talking about terrorism. Probably because, as we know, there’s no such thing as Islamic terrorism.
The report also recommended that DHS “adapt to the changing nature of violent extremism itself” by devoting more attention to “anarchists, sovereign citizens, white supremacists, and others.” The report was pointed in his recommendation to use American English words instead of religious or cultural terms like “jihad” or “sharia” in order to avoid offending Muslims.
Did I mention, this woman is a Barack Obama appointee?o
