Is Obama Ending the Public School System? Maybe…

0

I’ve never been a big fan of Mike Huckabee, but when he’s right he’s right. And he’s absolutely right about Barack Obama’s assault on public schools. Huckabee is calling out the president for his mandate that every public school open their bathrooms without regard to biology.

If you’d like to know just how insulting the new Obama policy is listen to Barack’s spokes-weasel, Joshua Ernest. Who is anything but.

Got that? Just put up a curtain.

After Obama’s latest outrage, Huckabee tweeted,

Republicans and normal people are outraged at Emperor Obama’s latest directive from the throne. Democrats are silent.

Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick told the local news station that “this will be the beginning of the end of the public school system as we know it.”

“President Obama, in the dark of night, without consulting Congress, without consulting educators, without consulting parents, decides to issue an executive order…Forcing transgender policies on schools and parents who clearly don’t want it.”

Patrick went on to say, “[Obama] says he’s going to withhold funding if schools do not follow the policy. Well in Texas, he can keep his 30 pieces of silver. We will not yield to blackmail from the president of the United States.”

In Texas virtually all the money they receive from the federal government goes toward a free lunch and breakfast program for low-income families. The state of Texas will simply cut those programs and let Barack Obama and the Democrats explain to the people of Texas why transgender bathrooms are more important than feeding poor, hungry children.

“We will not sell out our children to the federal government.”

That sounds like a line in the sand and Texas that the Lt. Gov. Patrick has drawn with a big backhoe.

Thank you Lt. Gov. Patrick.
