“Colored People” Jokes Are Cool If It’s Left-Wing Democrats Doing It

Hillary Clinton is a racist. That shouldn’t be news to anyone. After all, in 2008 she’s the one who started the “birther movement” when she started falling behind Barack Obama. Clinton reached a new low the other night in a “comedy” routine with New York City Mayor Bill DeBlasio when he endorsed her candidacy.

It turns out that “C. P.” Is an abbreviation for “colored people.” Social media exploded after their little “comedy” routine since, in part, Clinton desperately needs the votes of New York’s colored people to be Bernie Sanders. The other zinger is that DeBlasio is married to a colored lesbian.

This comes on the heels of Bill Clinton getting into a verbal war with #BlackLivesMatters over the policies Clinton pushed with relation to colored people in the 90’s.

Clinton took a little bit of heat from progressive outlets like Salon magazine who called the skit “cringe worthy.” DeBlasio defended their “comedy” on CNN and said “I think people are missing the point here.” The Clinton News Network commentators didn’t press the issue.

If there’s one thing we’re certain of its that this little storm is nothing more than a tempest in a teapot for the family you can say or do anything without arousing interest in the media. Or offending the colored people whose votes they’re counting on. After all, Bill Clinton was the first “Colored President.”

The question now is whether colored voters in New York will take offense and vote for Sanders, or whether they’ll stay on the plantation and vote for Hillary. Of course, if you happen to be a colored voter one plantation looks pretty much like another.

Just for fun think about what the New York Times would say if Donald Trump or Ted Cruz had done that “comedy” routine. The Clinton News Network would have dedicated at least 72 hours of exclusive coverage to racist Republicans with interviews of every member of the “Congressional Colored Caucus.” And the New York Times would have had a page one, above the fold story about racism in the Republican Party.

If Democrats in the media didn’t have double standards they wouldn’t have any standards.
