When you look at a guy like New York Mayor Bill de Blasio and then listen to Donald Trump on the campaign trail or in a debate, it’s pretty crazy to think Donald would ever praise de Blasio or think he’s a “good mayor”.
Mayor de Blasio is not just a left-winger, he’s a Communist according to the New York Post and many, many other media outlets. And don’t bother to ask firefighters, uniformed police, or First Responders in NYC about this lefty.
They HATE him.
But not Donald Trump, who is busy being all upset that Ted Cruz would dare to compare “New York Values” as out of step with the rest of the nation. A child knows what Senator Cruz was talking about and we all know the difference between Bloomberg, Cuomo, de Blasio and conservative Americans.
But despite the fact that Bill de Blasio is a committed far-left winger who thinks a 90% tax is not too high, had the NYC police force turn their backs on him at an officer’s funeral and is running NYC into the ground with the most Socialist policies you could ever get away with anywhere in America, The Donald thinks he’s pretty good.
These were The Donald’s words exactly:
“I think pretty strongly that he’ll end up being a good mayor, maybe a very good mayor and I don’t think he’s going to want to kill the golden goose,” Trump told an Albany radio station Thursday, according to the New York Daily News.
Oh, did I mention that Mayor de Blasio did support a communist regime?
De Blasio was an active supporter of the communist Sandinista regime in Nicaragua in the 1980s. He was so in love with Soviet-backed revolutionaries that he traveled to Managua, to aid their cause by participating in a relief mission. Upon de Blasio’s return to the United States, he joined the Nicaragua Solidarity Network of Greater New York (NSN) a commie organization if there ever is one.
So THIS is the man that The Donald, a GOP candidate for President thinks is a “good mayor”? Really? Seriously?
De Blasio’s past is an open book and he doesn’t shy away from being an active supporter of the communist Sandinista regime in Nicaragua and visiting Cuba (illegally) and supporting Hugo Chavez – currently running Venezuela into the ground.
Communism, which claimed more than 100 million lives, is not a laughing matter, Bill. And Donald. At least Obama tried to cover up his ties to communist Frank Marshall Davis.
And what about de Blasio’s relationship with ACORN, the disgraced organization involved in voter fraud? Some of de Blasio’s top campaign members came directly from ACORN, and his top advisers during his time as public advocate were either top organizers at ACORN or leaders within the Working Families Party, with whom ACORN keeps close ties.
Hey Donald – what about that then? Will bad-mouthing de Blasio hurt your chances to expand outward and upward in Manhatten when you’re finally bounced out of this primary and a good conservative like Ted Cruz can get on with the business of beating another one of your close Socialist friends, Hillary Clinonista?
In a story in Politico:
Trump, who has been openly critical of President Barack Obama, Democrats and the rollout of Obamacare, praised de Blasio. Trump’s enthusiasm might seem unlikely amid reports that the business and finance sectors of the city worry what a de Blasio tenure might mean for their industries.
“I think he’s a smart guy that knows what’s going on really big league and I think he is not going to want to destroy New York,” Trump said. “I think he is going to want to make New York great.”
How’s that Mayor de Blasio tenure going you ask?
“Unless you’re a well off liberal, it’s been a bad year for New York City,” Fox News Greg Gutfeld said on March 10, 2015. “Shootings are way up, homicides too by 20 percent. Subway delays have soared by 45 percent.”
“Is it any coincidence this is happening under the most progressive leader since Marx?” Gutfeld continued, “If he were a Republican with these stats, he’d be hog-tied, bobbing in the Hudson.”
Want more proof?
A majority of voters disapprove of the way Mayor Bill de Blasio is handling crime, poverty and homelessness, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll.
I’m sorry, but there is a definite difference between New York values and values in Iowa or the mid-west – this is from Donald Trump himself:
So there you have it! Donald Trump admits views in NY ARE very different from the views of those in the midwest. That’s all that Senator Ted Cruz was trying to state at the debate last week.
How does Senator Ted Cruz’s views differ from Donald Trump’s views?
Senator Ted Cruz has very different views. Cruz has strong Conservative values.
Cruz is Pro-life. He fought to defund Planned Parenthood.
Cruz strongly disagrees on gay or same-sex marriage. He believes strongly in Judeo-Christian values that our country was founded on. That includes marriage being defined as between one man and one woman. If you remember, Cruz defended Kentucky County Clerk, Kim Davis for not issuing gay marriage licenses because it was against her beliefs.
Cruz on Civil Liberties: Cruz introduced legislation prohibiting the use of drones to kill U.S. citizens within the United States. He has fought to defend the 1st Amendment and introduced The Free Speech Act of 2014, and voted in favor of the US Freedom Act, sponsored the Smarter Sentencing Act, and defending the Religious Freedom Restoration Act.
Trump has an inconsistent record when it comes to civil liberties:Trump highlighted his support for prosecuting “hate crimes” against homosexuals in his 2000 book, The America We Deserve. Trump supported the Supreme Court’s 2005 decision in Kelo v. City of New London, giving public authorities the right to seize private land for economic development by private investors. Trump said, “I happen to agree with [the decision]100 percent.” Trump also supports the NSA’s metadata collection program, saying, “I support legislation which allows the NSA to hold the bulk metadata. Trump’s belief that the government can use eminent domain powers to seize private property in the name of private economic development. This comes as no surprise, given his support for using eminent domain to profit his own company.
Because de Blasio has supported anti-police protests nationwide, cops in his own city accuse him of fomenting an anti-police fervor that contributed to the cold-blooded murder of the two officers, Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos. But apparently, de Blasio has been pretty good where Donald Trump’s concerns are and pretty good when it comes to New York values, I can only assume.
Will Trump put his businesses ahead of America too?
Let’s hope we don’t have to find out. Let’s hope America continues to stand strong on the Constitution and our Founding Fathers views. It’s Time For Truth! It’s time to return this country to Conservatism. It’s time to let Americans decide for themselves if they want the BIG Gulp or not. And if I may add,…Yes – there is a difference between NY values and Midwestern values.
