10 Sailors Detained By Iran – SHOCK UPDATE: Obama Blocking Their Story

0

Josh Earnest isn’t.  He’s an embarrassment, but he fits in well with every other appointee in the Obama administration.

Here’s Josh responding to questions about why the administration is blocking information about Iran capturing US sailors off the coast of Iran.  What you probably don’t know is that these were two very heavily armed small craft and they surrendered to essentially two fishing boats.

Nice job of deflection there Josh, look at the Republicans!  Oh and my favorite part of that press conference was Josh’s admission that what those sailors were forced to do by their chain-of-command accurately reflects Barack Obama’s foreign policy in the region: surrender.

In a news release, the military said the sailors also had two SIM cards pulled out of their satellite phones, but that there was no gunfire exchange.

There were no details given on the verbal exchange the sailors had with the Iranians. I doubt the sailors will ever get to tell any story.

This stinks. Why?

Their release came just days before world powers lifted crippling sanctions on Iran in return for Tehran’s implementation of a deal curbing its nuclear program.

The Obama administration has said their speedy release shows the power of diplomacy and the promise of its new engagement with Iran.

I don’t believe a frickin’ word of it – do you?

Ted Cruz has been among some of the vocal critics. On Fox News Sunday, Cruz said the only reason the sailors were seized was because of the “weakness of Barack Obama.”

In a speech at Liberty University on Monday, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump also lambasted the administration over the incident with the sailors.

“Those young people were on their hands and knees in a begging position with their hands up and thugs behind them with guns, and then we talk like it’s OK. It’s not OK. It’s lack of respect.”

Secretary of State John Kerry said on CNN that he was too busy trying to find his ass with both hands to deal with it effectively..
