We all know when Americans were surveyed, the first words that came to mind were “liar”, “dishonest” and “untrustworthy”. And yet, it’s still amazing people are behind her, albeit probably most of them are paid people – supporting her for President of the United States.
We all know there is a lot of dirt on Hillary – from Travelgate, Chinagate, Whitewater, Pardongate, Filegate, to Benghazi and Emailgate. Need I go on? I know what you are thinking, we can all probably name a lot more, but roll with me.
Here’s some little known horrible facts about Hillary you may not knowfrom SwingState:
1. She began her political aspirations as a Republican.
Before getting accepted to Yale, Hillary was an active Republican, and campaigned for Barry Goldwater’s presidential bid in 1964. Later, she found herself as a member of the impeachment inquiry staff during Nixon’s impeachment proceedings.
2. She missed the vital Benghazi call.
When the 3am phone call from Benghazi came in, Hillary Clinton was nowhere to be found. It has been said that if she had answered the call, the lives of those four American citizens would not have been taken. Most Americans believe that a dedicated president should be on hand at all times in case of emergency.
3. She is the only First Lady to be subpoenaed.
In 1996, Hillary was deposed as part of criminal investigations, and fingerprinted by the FBI. President Bill Clinton and First Lady Hillary Clinton were the only First Couple to be subpoenaed in this manner. The fingerprinting and depositions were part of investigations into Travelgate, Filegate and Whitewater.
4. She apparently finds it very easy to lie.
Perhaps the lies she has been caught out with have been minor in most cases, but is someone who is able to lie so easily to the public really someone who’d make a good presidential candidate?
In 1995, Hillary claimed that she was named after Sir Edmund Hillary – the first mountaineer to successfully take on Mount Everest. She credited this namesake for the extra ‘l’ in her first name, as opposed to the more common ‘Hilary’.
However, Clinton was born in 1947 and Sir Edmund Hillary did not scale Mount Everest until 1953, making her namesake story impossible. In 2006, she admitted she was actually not named after Sir Hillary, claiming it was a ‘sweet story’ made up by her mother.
5. She suffered brain damage while Secretary of State
After Hillary suffered a blood clot injury, Karl Rove told Fox News in 2014 “This health incident was so serious that she had to spend six months of really hard work to overcome the after effect of it … Her State Department PR apparatus said, ‘No, no, no, no problem, she’s over this in 30 days’ … and then she shows up with these fractal glasses that you have to wear if you got vision problems as a result of a traumatic concussion.” To complicate matters further, some theorize that she faked the blood clot to avoid testifying before a congressional hearing about the assault by militants on the US diplomatic compound in Benghazi.
6. She isn’t fit for active duty or outer space.
Shortly before she married Bill Clinton in 1975, Hillary tried to join the Marines, possibly as part of political statement. The Marine recruiter rejected her on the grounds that she was “too old,” couldn’t see very well, and that she was “a woman”. Similarly, as a child she wrote to NASA asking how to qualify for the space program. She was provided with the reply that girls could not be astronauts.
How much more information do you really need folks? Sad to say, but this woman has a lot of power and a lot of money and she is willing to do ANYTHING to get to the next level and become president. Just ask Vince Foster…or Ambassador Stevens…or James McDougal…or 13 bodyguards…or a slew of others. Oh, pardon me, none of them are alive.
