Rush Thinks This Republican Candidate Is Not Equipped to Serve

Rush Limbaugh was on Fox News and made some comments about various Presidential candidates.  This is what he said about one of them.

All you’re going to read about is that Rush said Carson wasn’t equipped to serve as President.  You’ll lose the entire context of his remarks.  Here’s the commentary from The Washington Times, and they’re a friendly venue.

When asked about former neurosurgeon Ben Carson, he said he isn’t convinced Carson is ready to become Commander-in-Chief.

Limbaugh called Carson “One of the most decent human beings in this country. One of the finest men. I’ve met him, and the things that he’s done, places he’s come from, he’s just one of the most decent human beings.”

Host Chris Wallace began to interject by asking if he thinks Carson is qualified to be president, but Limbaugh continued, “I cringe when I see that they are trying to destroy him. Okay, next name.”

After a pause Limbaugh said, “Ben Carson equipped to be president? Probably not at this stage.”

And you miss the context of his whole comment because what the major media will report, and even some conservative media in the last eleven words.  That’s pretty much all The Right Scoop gave us.

It’s too soon to tell if this will hurt Carson, but you can bet it will be used against him.
