If Ben Carson Becomes President He Knows Exactly What He’d Do to Trump

The latest polling, from IBD/TIPP, on the Republican cattle call has Ben Carson up by seven points over Donald Trump.

The nationwide survey found that 24% of Republicans back Carson, compared with 17% who say they support Trump.

Marco Rubio came in third with 11% and Carly Fiorina fourth at 9%. Jeb Bush, once considered a prohibitive favorite, ranked fifth with just 8% support, which was a point lower than those who say they are still undecided.

That’s a pretty sharp turnaround for Trump since the last debate when he came out leading the field by at least 10 points. It’s a stunning result for Ben Carson, and an even more stunning FAIL! for the Republican Establishment. The annointed and once prohibitive front runner, Jeb Bush, who the Establishment has given their blessings and $100 million is at 4%.

Conventional wisdom – which is turning out to be the enemy of the Establishment – had Carson dead because of his statement that he wouldn’t vote for a Muslim for President, is on it’s last legs.

The press is now starting to ask questions of Carson that indicate they think he could be a winner.

Let me note that after watching the idiots at Fox and CNN working their mouths off to start fights between the candidates, watching Steven Malzberg from Newsmax question Dr. Carson is a real breath of fresh air.

Carson also did well to respond in a positive manner toward every other candidate and didn’t pick nits on trivial points.

Can Carson win the nomination? Who knows, but he’s doing a lot better than I thought he would four months ago. It’s pretty obvious that the Progressive wing of the lunatic asylum known as the Democratic Party is scared to death of him. Take a look at these headlines.
