Well, for starters, MSM will forget to mention that the shooter is a black and “gay”. Not only is he a black and “gay” man, he was obsessed with racism. He was a repeated failure, except the cause for failure after failure was racism.
At one point he accused a manager of being racist because the manager referred to “reporters in the field” and the shooter thought “the field” was racist. As in picking cotton out in the field.
The media may have mentioned in passing some of those details but they’ve been overwhelmed by the video of the shooting, captured on his phone by the shooter and posted to his Twitter account. As a matter of fact, his Twitter account was the vehicle to air his whining after the murders.
Before he was caught by police, Flanagan took to Twitter to explain his reasons for killing his former coworkers.
Flanagan, who is African American, wrote that Parker made ‘racist comments’ and that a complaint was filed against her through the equal employment opportunity commission, but his station chose to hire her anyway.
As for Ward, Flanagan says that after working with the cameraman once, Ward complained to HR about the former general assignment reporter. It’s unclear what – if anything – happened between the two men.[…]
But the most shocking post of all was a video Flanagan took of the attack, which he shared on his Twitter and Facebook. The chilling clip is taken from Flanagan’s point of view and shows him approaching the two journalists as they were interviewing Vicki Gardner, the local Chamber of Commerce.
He opens fire first on Ward and then turns to kill Parker, who is seen running away in fear. Parker and Ward died at the scene while Gardner was rushed to Roanoke Memorial Hospital for emergency surgery and is now in stable condition.
I’m sorry, but that video (which will not be displayed) was not “most shocking” thing about these murders. The “most shocking” fact is the media has thus far refused to report on a black “gay”, former employee who was obsessed with race.
He goes on to say that he has faced both racial and sexual discrimination as a black, gay man and that he was just waiting to explode.
‘Yes, it will sound like I am angry…I am. And I have every right to be. But when I leave this Earth, the only emotion I want to feel is peace…’
‘The church shooting was the tipping point…but my anger has been building steadily…I’ve been a human powder keg for a while…just waiting to go BOOM!!!!’
At one point in the manifesto he even confesses to killing his cats in a forest close to where he lives, blaming the news station for the animals’ deaths.
Flanagan previously worked as a multimedia and general assignment reporter at WDBJ, before he was fired two years ago.
When he was fired from WDBJ in 2013, he had to be escorted out of the building by local police ‘because he was not going to leave willingly or under his own free will.’
Flanagan, 41, had ‘a long series of complaints against co-workers nearly from the beginning of employment at the TV station,’ said Dennison, now an official with the Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources.
‘All of these allegations were deemed to be unfounded. And they were largely under along racial lines, and we did a thorough investigation and could find no evidence that anyone had racially discriminated against this man.’
According to the station, the situation got so bad he was asked to contact employee healthcare over fears for his mental stability.
Please note that we don’t have the New York Times or ABC News to thank for these reports. We have The Daily Mail, a British newspaper to thank.
What else what NOT talked about by MSM? How about the fact that his parents went through a bitter divorce when he was young and impressionable?
Documents unearthed by the New York Daily News detail Flanagan’s parents’ bitter breakup when he was 8 years old.
Vester Lee Flanagan Sr., now 76, filed for divorce and a restraining order in the early ’80s, claiming his wife Betty’s behavior toward him and the kids had been “extremely menacing and threatening” for months.
“She has also repeatedly threatened my life, a least on one occasion threatening to shoot me in my sleep, and the children have heard these threats and are understandably upset.”
Betty, who died in 2008, apparently did not respond to the claims.
A judge granted the father’s request and awarded him physical custody of the kids. The court also ordered Betty to move out of the family’s home, stay 50 yards away from Vester Sr.’s workplace and not “attack, strike, threaten or otherwise disturb the peace of the three minor children.”
Based on the court report, it’s clear to me that Vester Flanagan took on his mother’s identity by resenting her. She literally recreated her son in her own image. She too, no doubt, took on her mother’s identity through her hatred of her. The spirit of anger is thus passed down generation to generation. Now, I know what you’re thinking – those are interesting and important facts that we didn’t hear anything about, at least NOT by the MSM.
The MSM even tried to turn this into a “gun control” issue. Except that it appears the gun used by the shooter was purchased by him legally. So much for “common sense background checks.”
This story is inconvenient. Racially motivated – absolutely not. The only thing “race” had to do with the story is that the shooter was overwhelmed by failure and needed a scapegoat. The fact that he was black and a “gay” gave him two for the price of one. Vester Flanagan’s story was MORE about culture, bitter upbringing, lack of a traditional family and lack of love, and resentment and anger. Anger that was built up over Vester’s lifetime.
But, don’t expect any “investigative reports” about this shooter, because it doesn’t fit the script by the MSM, Obama or the liberal narrative.
