Imagine your life for a moment as a disabled person.
Now, imagine for a moment that your disability disappeared, and you were a normal, healthy boy, running a race and being cheered on by your teacher and classmates.
This wasn’t a dream for one disabled boy, Matt Woodrum:
If we could just capture the feelings this video/situation brings and save them for when things get tough.
When you think things are getting too hard and you can’t forge ahead just think of Matt.
If we think we have an unmanageable situation, again, just think of Matt.
How often do we take things for granted?
How often we forget that people have higher mountains to climb than we do and they come through just fine?
Matt sets an example that we shouldn’t soon forget.
The world we live in is full of teachers abusing students, bullying and hate. This is the opposite of what happened here. A teacher took the time to make a difference, setting an example for other students to follow. So many teachers do this every day, and we do not see this.
Help someone finish their race today, Matt style. He would most certainly be proud.
