This is probably the most truth you will ever read about the reality of China’s strict rules regarding abortion. Not only is it OK in China to have a late-term abortion, but it is actually FORCED upon women. Yes. FORCED.
Babies that are living and breathing are MURDERED by drowning or breaking their necks – and some folks have had enough of this:
A Chinese attorney who escaped house arrest in his home country for his efforts to protect women from forced abortion for violating the government’s one-child policy said on Thursday that in the 35 years since the practice hundreds of millions of babies have been killed.
“Over the past 35 years, China has killed a total of 360 to 400 million young lives as a result of its inhumane and violent birth control policies,” Chen Guangcheng, now senior fellow at Catholic University of America said at a hearing of the Congressional Executive Commission on China.
“During a six-month period of 2005, more than 130,000 forced abortions and/or sterilizations took place in Linyi city alone,” Guangcheng said in his prepared remarks. “More than 600,000 family members suffered during this period.
“This brutality and these crimes against women and their families have wrought irrevocable physical, spiritual and psychological harm,” Guangcheng said.
In his prepared remarks, Guangcheng provides graphic details of forced abortions, including late-term abortions where children who survive are then killed by drowning or breaking their neck.
Rep. Chris Smith (R-N.J.), chairman of the commission, said that he wrote and Congress passed a bill in 1999 to hold foreign governments accountable for human rights abuses.
The Admiral James W. Nance and Meg Donovan Foreign Relations Act says, in part, that the secretary of State is not to issue visas nor the attorney general to allow entry into the United States to any foreign national who has been directly involved in forced abortions or forced sterilization.
“In his testimony, Chen absolutely gets it right,” Smith said. “He calls China’s coercive population planning policies ‘genocide.’
“He calls for an international tribunal to investigate these crimes against humanity and calls on the administration to enforce existing U.S. law and bar Chinese officials from coming to the U.S.,” Smith added.
“To the best of my knowledge under President [Barack] Obama, almost no one — we can’t find anyone – who has been rendered inadmissible,” Smith said. “Thus, it has been a gross failure of the Obama administration not to enforce existing law, particularly on those in China who so brutally violate women’s rights.”

Two Kids? Chinese Say no Thanks
Wary of changing demographics, Chinese authorities recently relaxed the country’s controversial one-child policy. But fewer couples than expected are taking up applications for a second child. The financial burden of another child is often cited as a main reason for not taking advantage of the policy change.
A year ago , China relaxed its controversial one-child policy, which allowed couples to have a second baby only if the mother or father was an only child themselves.
