Michelle Obama: “America’s Museums Are Only For White People”

0

Michelle Obama is just grasping straws at this point. Pretty much nothing is not the white man’s fault in America, and how DARE we say anything to anyone that may be just a shade different than us?

Perhaps, Michelle, this is not an issue for museums to fix, but an issue for black parents to fix. You see, I did not feel comfortable or welcome in a museum. My parents chose to make the decisions to take me to museums and cultural events. It has to be important to you to broaden your children’s horizons.

I did the same things for my kids. My parents are white, I am white, and three of my kids are white. I have a bi-racial adopted kid, and he goes too. Guess what? My kids ASK for the museum now. It’s a parenting thing, and a culturing thing. You don’t set the bar on the ground and wonder why there is no success. You raise it high and make the kids jump for it:

Did you know that museums are only for WHITE people? Yeah, me neither. But that’s what the FLOTUS Michelle Obama says so it must be true… what a fricking racebaiting idiot. I’m really getting sick of these people blaming WHITE people for everything- it’s getting really old and frankly it’s offensive as well as completely irresponsible.

Warner Todd Huston at Right Wing News reports:
During the opening of a museum in New York City, Michelle Obama couldn’t resist using her speech as a platform to push her racebaiting attack on America by claiming that museums are only places for white people.

The First Lady used her speech to attack America’s libraries, concert halls, and museums as places of racism.

“You see, there are so many kids in this country who look at places like museums and concert halls and other cultural centers and they think to themselves, well, that’s not a place for me, for someone who looks like me, for someone who comes from my neighborhood. In fact, I guarantee you that right now, there are kids living less than a mile from here who would never in a million years dream that they would be welcome in this museum.

“And growing up on the South Side of Chicago, I was one of those kids myself. So I know that feeling of not belonging in a place like this. And today, as first lady, I know how that feeling limits the horizons of far too many of our young people.
