Was the state’s attorney in Baltimore bought and paid for by the Race Industry? It looks like prosecutor of the police officers charged in the death of Freddie Gray may have huge conflict of interest problems.
The Fraternal Order of Police in Baltimore is demanding that Mosby appoint a special prosecutor.
“I have very deep concerns about the many conflicts of interest presented by your office conducting an investigation in this case.
“These conflicts include your personal and professional relations with Gray family attorney, William Murphy, and the lead prosecutor’s connections with members of the local media Based on several nationally televised interviews, these reporters are likely to be witnesses in any potential litigation regarding this incident.”
Gray family attorney Murphy supported Mosby, he donated $5,000 to her campaign and served on her transition committee.
“Most importantly, it is clear that your husband’s political future will be directly impacted, for better or worse, by the outcome of your investigation. In order to avoid any appearance of impropriety or a violation of the Professional Rules of Professional Responsibility, I ask that you appoint a Special Prosecutor to determine whether or not any charges should be filed.”
We believe that the prosecutor may have bitten off more than she can chew with this indictments of the officers and the specific charges that have been filed. We’ll see.
With respect to the conflict of interest charges being leveled against Mosby, we would agree with those. We also think they will go nowhere because, after all, it is Baltimore, a city that has been owned by very liberal Democrats since 1965. Who is going to investigate her? Loretta Lynch?
