Tim McGraw is proof positive that you don’t have have a double digit IQ to make tons of money as a singer.
He’s volunteered to be used by a gun control group, Sandy Hook Promise, that was formed by some of the parents in the aftermath of the Newtown shootings.
MacGraw is insisting that he’s doing a fundraiser for gun control in order to support the new town “community.” Breitbart News received the following statement from MacGraw:
Let me be clear regarding the concert for Sandy Hook given much of the erroneous reporting thus far. As a gun owner, I support gun ownership. I also believe that with gun ownership comes the responsibility of education and safety – most certainly when it relates to what we value most, our children. I can’t imagine anyone who disagrees with that. Through a personal connection, I saw first-hand how the Sandy Hook tragedy affected families and I felt their pain. The concert is meant to do something good for a community that is recovering.
MacGraw doesn’t have a clue who Sandy Hook promise is.
Back in December Breitbart reported on Sandy Hook Promise. Three of the organizers, Mark Barden, Nicole Hockley and Erica Lafferty, parents whose children were killed at Sandy, our charter members of the organization. They support Michael Bloomberg and his gun control crusade.
They have said that they are willing to dedicate their lives to securing gun control. You can bet by “gun-control” they mean the same thing that Bloomberg does: gun confiscation.
The Sandy Hook Promise website avoids discussing gun-control and talks about implementing “effective, innovative in-home and community-based prevention programs, practices and training that enable the protection of children from gun violence.”
If they really wanted to do that they would support the National Rifle Association. The NRA has been doing that very thing since the day they started.
Tim, you’re an idiot. You say you are a gun owner and that you support the Second Amendment you don’t bother to find out who or what causes your working for.
Even many of the Sandy Hook victims families understand what’s going on with Sandy Hook Promise. The families of eleven victims came out last week and distance themselves from Sandy Hook Promise. They made a statement “to clarify the issue for donors who might believe they are directly supporting the victims’ families.” He went on to note at Sandy Hook Promise does not speak for all the victims families.
Will somebody please slap Tim McGraw upside the head.
