President Obama: “Taxation Without Representation Will Be Highlight Of My Second Term”

Well, that may not be an exact quote from President Obama but it certainly captures the heart of what presidential SpokesTwit Josh Frivolous had to say yesterday. He noted that President Obama is “very interested” in the idea of raising taxes through the lateral executive action.

“The president certainly has not indicated any reticence in using his executive authority to try and advance an agenda that benefits middle-class Americans.

“Now I don’t want to leave you with the impression that there is some imminent the announcement, there is not, at least that I know of. But the president has asked his team to examine the array of executive authorities that are available to him to try to make progress on his goals. So I am not in a position to talk in any detail at this point but the president is very interested in this avenue generally.”

Josh “Less-Than-Ernest” was referring to a letter that Vermont’s Socialist Senator Bernie Sanders sent to Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday. Sanders outlined some executive actions the IRS could take without congressional legislation. Those executive actions by Obama would increase corporate taxes by as much as $100 billion.

Obama is looking for money to fund liberal infrastructure projects – “shovel-ready” – projects like California’s $100 Billion Bullet Train To Nowhere. The president has already demonstrated his incompetence with infrastructure spending when the Congress, in 2009, gave him nearly $1 trillion to spend on shovel-ready jobs. Remember how that worked out?

Unfortunately we have no confidence in the ability for even the desire of the Republican Congress to stop this president in his run of executive tyranny. They not only haven’t stopped unilateral rewriting of US immigration law, the crack team of Mitch and John have actually enabled him. We have no reason to believe that they will stand in the way of President Obama unilaterally rewriting the IRS code.
