Obama Administration Directly Involved in Israeli Election – With Taxpayer Money

Pres. Obama and his lackeys asserted time and time again that it was inappropriate for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to speak to a joint session of the Congress. Their reason? The Israeli election was a mere two weeks away and it violated international protocol.

Here’s Josh Earnest at a press conference.

Mr. Earnest, who is anything but, was lying through his teeth.John McLaughlin, a Republican strategist, said in a radio interview, “There was money moving that included taxpayer US dollars, through nonprofit organizations. And there were various liberal groups in the United States that were raising to fund a campaign called V15 against Prime Minister Netanyahu.”

And Obama political operative named Jeremy Bird led the effort by US groups to oust Netanyahu. The group included a Washington-based nonprofit called OneVoice Movement, a shill organization that promotes “Palestinian rights.” OneVoice reportedly received $350,000 in grants from John Kerry’s State Department. OneVoice of course insists that “not a single cent” of taxpayer money was spent trying to defeat Netanyahu.

The $350,000 for OneVoice was just the tip of the iceberg for State Department help. McLaughlin reports that, “The State Department people in the end of January, early February, expedited visas for [Israeli] Arab leaders to come to the United States to learn how to vote.

“There were people in the United States that were organizing them to vote in one party, so they would help the left-of-center candidate, Herzog, that the Obama administration favored.”

Representative Lee Zeldin of New York noted in a Fox News interview, “now this is 5860 know you complete this They were running and ACORN, Obama organizing for America-type campaign over there with the digital ads, the billboards, the phones. They were targeting Israeli voters.”

So let’s make sure were clear. President objects to Prime Minister Netanyahu speaking to a joint session of Congress because he considers it “interfering with the Israeli election.”

On the other hand, it’s perfectly okay for the president to mobilize his political troops, and to use taxpayer money funneled through the State Department, in an attempt to swing the election in Israel to his favorite candidate.

That sounds a lot like one set of rules for thee, and another set for me. Well, that certainly fits the President’s modus-operandi over the last six years.
