Clinton Lawyer to Trey Gowdy: We Wiped Hillary’s Email Server. Ha Ha Ha.

Did you really think Hillary Clinton was ever going to release her emails for the American people to see?  We didn’t.  And, they’re gone.  We’d bet that server underwent a “DOD Wipe” meaning it’s a tad more pristine than the day it came off the assembly line.

Last week Trey Gowdy sent a letter to David Kendall, Hillary Clinton’s mouthpiece, and gave her a deadline of April 3 to turn her emails and private server over to a neutral third-party. If she didn’t he threaten litigation.

Good luck with that litigation Trey.

Mrs. Clinton’s lawyer, David Kendall, said in a letter that after her lawyers determined which emails were personal and which were private, a setting was changed to retain only emails sent in the previous 60 days.

“Thus, there are no hdr22@clintonmail.com emails from Secretary Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state on the server for any review, even if such review were appropriate or legally authorized,” Mr. Kendall said.

Gowdy was not amused.
He said that Mrs. Clinton’s “unprecedented email arrangement with herself and her decision nearly two years after she left office to permanently delete all emails” had deprived Americans of a full record of her time in office.
Ummm, were pretty sure that was the whole point of the exercise.
The “Clinton email scandal” is now officially dead. On the Clinton trash heap with Whitewater, Monica, and the assorted been in bimbo eruptions.

Clinton’s attorney only specifically references her emails, but several of Clinton’s highly placed State Department staff members used her private email server as well. We bet our last nickel that those emails are history as well.
Gowdy’s committee doesn’t have police powers and they can’t force Hillary to do anything. He can refer it to the floor of the House of Representatives where Hillary could be charged with contempt of Congress. Just like Eric Holder. That worked out well, right?
Realistically, all that’s left now is to call Hillary before the Benghazi Committee where committee Democrats will make speeches about what a great job she did as Secretary of State and ask no questions, and committee Republicans will howl at the moon. Hillary’s response will be…
