Firefighters proved that the lifesaving techniques that they learned for saving humans can save all kinds of lives. In this case, adorable puppies were saved in Victorville. More from KTLA:
Pictures tweeted Saturday showed firefighters rescuing puppies from a burning Victorville home, according to the San Bernardino County Fire Department.
Initial department tweets stated four puppies had been rescued and there were no other injuries, but Battalion Chief Dave Meddles later clarified that a fifth puppy died.
A fire was reported at a single-family home in the 16000 block of Allen Street (map) around 1:08 a.m., and was a knock down around 1:17 a.m., Meddles said.
No humans were injured in the fire, he said.
An investigation into the cause was underway.

Amazing men to take heart and save these poor little guys. Sad that one perished, but the Rainbow Bridge was open that evening and he crossed through. Thank heavens for good men who do care, and letting us know that #alllivesmatter, even canine ones.
