White House Conference on “Violent Extremism” Opens With Muslim Prayers

0

The White House hosted conference on “violent extremism” in the last few days. The conference was a continuation of the Obama administration’s efforts to avoid saying “Islam” in the same paragraph as “butchers.”

The administration even went so far as to have two Muslim imams open one session with prayer.

Imam Sheikh Sa’ad Musse Roble, president of the World Peace Organization in Minneapolis, Minn., recited a “verse from the Quran” following remarks by Obama administration officials and Democratic members of Congress.

The verse from the Koran that was recited by the imam was spoken in Arabic. An English translation was provided by a second imam. We wonder about the accuracy of the translation because imams are famous for saying one thing in Arabic and another in English.

The translation provided by the second imam is, “Whoever kills the soul and lust for a soul or for corruption in the land, it’s as if he has slain mankind entirely, and whoever saves one life, it says if he has saved mankind entirely.”

We suppose this could be considered a benign prayer. On the other hand Muslims have a 1,400 year history of acting on their belief that “unbelievers” are a corruption in the land. Islam has an unbroken history of slaughtering “infidels” or enslaving them. Nothing we’ve seen in the 21st century differs from their history.

As the news media reports on this conference it’s important to remember three things. First, the major news media does not investigate or report news. They read president releases from the White House.

Second, it’s important to remember that President Obama has done nothing but apologize for Muslim violence and enable Islamic terrorism every day of his 6+ years in office.

Third, it’s also important to remember that the Obama administration considers conservatives, US military veterans, Tea Party members, and evangelical Christians to be a bigger terror threat to the US than ISIS/ISIL or any other Islamic terrorist organization. Their latest “right-wing” group of choice is a small fringe element who refer to themselves as “sovereign citizens.”

A new intelligence assessment the Department of Homeland Security was released this month.

A new intelligence assessment, circulated by the Department of Homeland Security this month and reviewed by CNN, focuses on the domestic terror threat from right-wing sovereign citizen extremists and comes as the Obama administration holds a White House conference to focus efforts to fight violent extremism.

Some federal and local law enforcement groups view the domestic terror threat from sovereign citizen groups as equal to — and in some cases greater than — the threat from foreign Islamic terror groups, such as ISIS, that garner more public attention.

The Homeland Security report, produced in coordination with the FBI, counts 24 violent sovereign citizen-related attacks across the U.S. since 2010.

The “sovereign citizen” groups are small in number, viewed by conservatives, etc. as nut cases. In fact they are anarchists. Violent contacts with police have not been due to “terrorist” actions on the part of individuals, but rather shootouts at routine traffic stops.

Jonah Goldberg, and national review columnist and commentator, destroys the administration’s comparison of “sovereign citizens” to Islamic militants and terror organizations.

When all is said and done this “Conference on Violent Extremism” is nothing more than more denial on the part of the administration and more enabling of Muslim butchers around the world.

President Obama should take a lesson from the leaders, who happen to be Muslims, in Egypt and Jordan. They both understand the threat that ISIS poses, they both understand that the problem is not that these terrorists “don’t have jobs” it’s that they are Muslim terrorists.

We are not confident that President Obama or his administration will get it in the next two years
