Parents See Kids Caught On Film Robbing A Store, What They Did Next Is UNBELIEVABLY Brave

Doing the right thing isn’t always easy to do, especially when it involves making a really hard decision about the future of your own children.

When video footage of five teenagers robbing a store was aired on television in North Carolina, two sets of parents were forced to make an incredibly difficult decision after discovering their children were involved in the incident.

Folks, this is what integrity looks like.

From IJReview:

According to the Daily Mail, the parents of the 14 and 16-year-old teens marched them straight down to the Fayetteville police station.  Once there, the boys were arrested and charged with breaking and entering, larceny and possession of stolen goods.

Wow.

It’s so rare seeing people do what’s right and moral that it literally leaves me speechless, which hasn’t happened in a long time.

These parents should be examples to others in our backwards culture. It’s obvious these aren’t the kind of folks who sought to be their children’s best buddy, as is evident by this dose of tough love.

In an effort to deter their children from a destructive lifestyle, they made the hard call to let them experience the consequences of their actions. No doubt this was just as tough on them as it is their kids, but sometimes the best thing we can do for our children is let them learn life’s lessons the hard way.

Hopefully these boys will straighten up, take advantage of the opportunity they’re being given, and stay out of the criminal lifestyle.
