Dems Love that Stephen Colbert [video]

0

Dems love Stephen Colbert so much that the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has launched “Colbert Week” to celebrate the work of television comedian Stephen Colbert. Colbert, who has been mocking conservatives in character for nine years on his Comedy Central show, will turn in his final “The Colbert Report” broadcast Thursday before he moves to CBS to take over for David Letterman.

Colbert’s supposedly apolitical new gig at the notoriously liberal CBS network places him in the historical company of Dan Rather, who resigned from CBS News for broadcasting fraudulent documents about President George W. Bush’s National Guard service, and Letterman, who frequently discussed his left-wing politics and provided safe haven on the airwaves for guests President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.
