DISGRACEFUL: Bruce Springsteen’s Anti-Military Song at Concert to Honor Vets Proves He Has No Class

Yesterday was Veteran’s Day, a time set apart for Americans to stop and reflect on the sacrifices made by our brave men and women in the military who have given far more than we will ever know to keep our country safe and free.

While millions celebrated these amazing warriors in a variety of creative ways, there were a few famous liberal hacks who proved they had absolutely zero class by performing an extremely anti-military song at a concert that was supposed to honor our troops.

Bruce Springsteen, in a “band” comprised of rock stars Dave Grohl and Zac Brown performed at the “Concert For Valor,” where they chose to play “Fortunate Son” by Creedence Clearwater Revival.

Via Weasel Zippers:

Who would have thought that that Bruce Springsteen, Dave Grohl, and Zac Brown, accomplished musicians all, would be so, well, tone-deaf? But how else to explain their choice of song—Creedence Clearwater’s famously anti-war anthem “Fortunate Son”—at the ostensibly pro-military “Concert for Valor” this evening on the National Mall?

The song, not to put too fine a point on it, is an anti-war screed, taking shots at “the red white and blue.” It was a particularly terrible choice given that Fortunate Son is, moreover, an anti-draft song, and this concert was largely organized to honor those who volunteered to fight in Afghanistan and Iraq.

.If anyone has even the slightest bit of doubt that liberals are brain dead, this song choice should make you a sold out believer.

Playing this to a group of vets was a slap in the face to our military, and Springsteen should issue an apology immediately.

What progressive trolls like Springsteen fail to understand is that those in the armed forces willingly volunteer to go TOWARD danger in an effort to protect us and the freedoms we take for granted on a daily basis. These folks believe in America and what she stands for, which is why they go to defend her.

Pulling such a classless stunt like this should produce severe feelings of shame in these nutjobs for their lack of decency. Of course, that requires one to possess a soul and given their current behavior, the idea they have one is questionable.

While Springsteen and other liberal musicians who are disconnected from reality may not appreciate the sacrifices made by members of the military, there are millions of others who do. On their behalf, I’d like to say thank you to anyone who has put on a uniform and defended our rights. You guys are awesome!
