Jeb Bush: Our Next loser

0

Hillary VS. Jeb, conservatives don’t show up and Hillary slaughters him. There. You heard it here and now – Jeb Bush will be our next Big Loser..

Jeb has been running around picking up support from all the right people, Karl Rove and anyone associated with the Bush family, Goldman Sachs Chief Executive Lloyd Blankfein and Sheldon Adelson (after Jeb threw his support behind outlawing Internet gambling). Mr. Adelson owns brick and mortar casinos. Duh.

And that means lots and lots of money. Enough to buy the primary a la Romney and besides, the conservatives will not only cancel each other out – they’ll wear each other out in another marathon Republican shootout, where people do get killed politically at least. Rick Perry, Rand Paul, Paul Ryan, Christie and whoever dukes it out for the “real conservative” vote will split ’em up.

And there’s Jeb – the last man standing – ready to get his ass handed to him by the crowned media darling Hillary. What? You think the media was in the tank for Obama? You ain’t seen nothing yet for the First Female President. Wouldn’t surprise me if she lined up that Castro dude from San Antonio as a running mate. BLAM!

hillarylaughingDoesn’t matter if Jeb end up with Marco as a running mate, Hillary wins. Easy. Count it.

Why am I so confident? Because when conservatives don’t get their way, their guy – they stay home. And at home they will scream about Hillary while secretly loving that the guy they warned against all along gets shelacked.

I wonder how many of us who stayed home and enabled the re-election of Black Jesus yearn for a Romney presidency? You too? Well, think about that the next time you take your ball and bat and don’t vote because the GOP isn’t perfect. Even if he’s not even close to perfect, it’s better than Hillary.

But I couldn’t convince people to think that way and support Romney. Won’t work this time either.

Hat top: Miami Herald:

In an interview with The Associated Press this month, Jeb Bush said his wife, Columba, is “supportive” of a potential presidential campaign and his mother, former first lady Barbara Bush, was now “neutral, trending in a different direction.” Barbara Bush declared last year there had been “enough Bushes” in the White House.

Jeb Bush is “moving forward” on a potential 2016 White House run and it appears more likely he will enter the Republican field, according to his son, who’s running for office in Texas.

George P. Bush told ABC’s “This Week” that his father is “still assessing” a presidential bid, but suggested it was more likely that he would seek the White House this time. The ex-governor declined to run for president in 2012 despite encouragement from Republicans.

“I think it’s more than likely that he’s giving this a serious thought and moving — and moving forward,” said the younger Bush, who is running for Texas land commissioner.

Asked if that meant it was “more than likely that he’ll run,” George P. Bush responded: “That he’ll run. If you had asked me a few years back … I would have said it was less likely.”

Jeb Bush says he does not want to raise taxes — he’s not pushing the idea. He’s just not automatically ruling tax hikes out as part of a bipartisan deal to address the soaring costs associated with the retirement of the 75 million-strong baby boom generation.

In other words, read the GOP’s lips..
