At World Cup, Muslim Cleric Says Women May See More Than Soccer Balls

Yeah, so that just happened.

Muslim ladies beware the “zina mata” at the World Cup! It means women might be sexually stimulated by hairy and athletic men wearing soccer shorts and running around, flopping on the ground and kicking balls into a net once every three hours or so.

It’s what Malaysian Islamic preacher, Datuk Daud Che Ngah, calls “visual fornication” – the literal translation of “zina mata.

“If a woman watches a football match, they will indirectly see the ‘aurat’ of the players,” Daud said and I’m guessing he’s talking about the male version of a nip-slip, and the fact that so much testosterone is floating around the Cup.. the World Cup, that is – that Muslim chicks will get their Burkas all in a twist.

Literally, ‘Aurat’ in Malaysian refers to “intimate body parts” that Muslims should cover with clothing. Any exposing these is considered pretty sinful. Daud added, “Watching the ‘aurat’ until it causes sexual excitement can be categorised as ‘zina’ of the eye.”

Are you even reading this article? Or are you checking out my “aurats”?

Same kind of thing when you stare too long at Kate Upton, you get that ‘zina’ of the eye? You know what I’m talking about.

Muslims believe that the sin also includes “zina” of the eye by gazing upon the opposite sex, “zina” of the mind by having impure thoughts, and “zina” of the tongue by uttering foul words. – See more at: http://m.themalaymailonline.com/malaysia/article/in-world-cup-muslim-preacher-says-women-might-see-more-than-just-balls#sthash.ZeJF1kfJ.dpuf

Muslims believe that adultery is bad, sure, but the same sinning also includes “zina” of the eye by gazing upon the opposite sex, “zina” of the mind by having impure thoughts, and “zina” of the tongue by uttering foul words.

This is why I don’t watch soccer. Too much “zina” and not enough Kate Upton. This is why we invaded Iraq and Afghanistan I guess..
