Jenny Beth Martin is a high priced fraud

Jenny Beth Martin is the head of the Tea Party Patriots and a PAC called the TeaPartyPatriots Citizens Fund. She’s also a blood sucking leech.

She’s out on the money trail talking up Chris McDaniel and the Mississippi Senate Primary. She endorsed McDaniel a while back, the endorsement page is undated, perhaps because she got to the party late, we don’t know. But the endorsement page has a prominent DONATE button. We’re not giving them traffic, so if you’d like to see the page just Google it. She’s still on the bandwagon, going after Reince Prebus, Chairman of the Republican Party. Don’t get us wrong, it’s never a bad thing to go after Prebus, but Jenny Beth is just trying to raise money that won’t go to McDaniel, or any other politician for that matter.

According to OpenSecrets.org, so far in the 2014 election cycle, the TeaPartyPatriots Citizens Fund has raised almost $10 million. Here’s the summary.

She’s raised $9.8 million and spent $9.3 million, she’s got $516K on hand. “Independent Expenditures” are just over $1 million. Let’s see where that money went.

So TeaPartyPatriots Citizens Fund spent about $800,000 in Mississippi supporting McDaniel. Please note that they’ve spent next to nothing anywhere else, and the million they’ve spent campaigning amounts to about 11% of what they’ve taken in. So, if you’re giving $10 to the TeaPartyPatriots Citizens Fund, you have a high confidence level that Jenny Beth is going to put $1.10 to good use. The rest of it?

Well, as we documented earlier this year, it’s going in Jenny Beth’s pocket. She’s going to take home about $450,000 this year. Then there’s her family, friends and miscellaneous staff, plus travel expenses so she can raise money.

If you’re planning on donating to a campaign this year, please give directly to the campaign. Jenny Beth is a money grubbing fraud, give to her and you support her lifestyle while the candidates you think are benefiting are getting chump change.
