Military Members Died Defending Our Rights, Will You Allow Their Sacrifice To Be Mocked?

Print Friendly and PDF

I wrote my “open letter”  on the eve of Memorial day – a day we honor the fallen heroes that defend and protect our rights.

These men and women that served and paid the ultimate price for our way of life were someone’s dad, mom, brother, sister, or daughter. They made that sacrifice, which guarantees our freedoms because they believe in America. So I’m asking the question:

Why are the lives of these brave Americans less important than the victims of Elliot Rodger?

Because if the solution to this horrific incident is surrendering to the devious schemes of oppression; it nullifies the sacrifice of all Veterans. To infringe on our rights to bear arms would make a mockery of our fallen heroes who died defending our way of life.

Left-leaning politicians and their lapdogs in the mainstream media want to use this “crisis” to further chip away our rights. They want to use these deaths to gain more power and more control. They only care about the victims so long as they serve a purpose:

The killings are useful, the grieving an opportunity, the survivors are props in a staged circus of phony outrage, but with real people now damaged by the very policies the Marxists hope to arrange more of.

Don’t believe me? Look how the country has taken care of our veterans:

The horror story is right in front of our faces. This President swore five years ago to do something about it and billions of dollars later, all we have to show are dead Veterans in Arizona and no one accountable.

Because once these heroes return from the battlefield, they are no longer useful to the left. They’re thrown aside and ignored in a VA bureaucracy which should have been an obvious warning to all against the horrors of socialized medicine.

Even when 90-year-old men in wheelchairs wish to visit the WWII Memorial in Washington D.C. – a monument they built by trudging across Europe in their bare feet to kill Nazis, cramming into submarines in the South Pacific to hold off the invading Japanese, and staring down Rommel’s tanks in Africa – they’re confronted with steel barricades, compliments of the Administration.

Back to guns:

-Whistles don’t protect women from rape – a Glock does!

-When armed men come into your house to steal, a baseball bat doesn’t cut it. Unless you have an automatic-baseball bat. I want one of those – email me.

-When a nut-job decides to go on a killing spree and the cops are 5 to 15 minutes away, you are screwed unless you are carrying a Colt.

-And – this is the most important one:

Guns are mostly for hunting down politicians who would actively seek to take your freedoms and liberty away from you. Google “Hitler, Mao, Kim Jung Il, Castro, Stalin” just for starters.

As far as me being nice, cordial, respectful – don’t hurt people’s feelings… bla bla? We tried that and look where it got us?

I guess Joe, (who is not a licensed plumber) doesn’t believe in the US Constitution. IT clearly calls for people to serve in Congress and in the Executive branch.

Joe, do you really mean we should hunt down and kill ALL politicians, or just the ones you happen to disagree with on policy or laws they voted for? Who gets to decide who gets shot and who lives?

That sounds like anarchy, and not the democratic Republic that the Founding fathers gave us in 1783

Maybe you should try reading your Constitution some time. instead of advocating murder.

  • setemfree

I will stand with Joe anyday against you Socialists Bastar-s. And Wisco- up yours

  • Patrick

Joe the Dumber. (Whose name is Samuel, not Joe, and is not a plumber.) You’re advocating assassination. I would suggest you cool it with that language, unless you’d relish a visit from the Secret Service and an escort in a set of matching gun-metal bracelets. And trust me, I would shed no tears for you, nor march on Washington for your release. You’re a nonentity who gained some recognition during Obama’s first campaign. You had your fifteen minutes of fame. Retire to obscurity where you belong, before you get yourself in trouble with your assassination talk.

  • Scooter Livingston

I hope to hell your ass is thrown in jail for this.

The 2nd Amendment is not for sale or compromise. It is part of the US Constitution and it is a right , not a privilege. The more gun laws that are passed means less freedom to the American people. When the government targets veterans and law abiding citizens as terrorists, then the government is becoming a dictatorship and the people must stand up and remove such traitors and cowards through the ballot box, otherwise the future will indeed be dark and dreary.

    • Arizona Don

You’re correct the second amendment is neither for sale or compromise. We as a nation must stand firm on that commitment. Regardless, of the misguided uninformed gun grabbers (including the current president) who recommend and support such action. We must resist in every way possible and with all the effort required including violent resistance if need be, that is their decision.

I understand there are currently over ten thousand restrictive gun laws on the books across these 50 states. Each and every one is an infringement on the second amendment. Furthermore, requiring a permit to carry one concealed is registration make no mistake abaout that. If the politicians we elect to represent us were to do the job they were hired for, those laws would be repealed. None of them, not even one has in the past or can in the future stop a mass murdered like what has happened in California, Colorado or Connecticut.

However, do we not all realize the gun control zealots do not wish them to work because that gives them an excuse to pass more and more restrictive laws with the end goal of confiscation. Make no mistake patriots that “is” the goal. Everyone has heard all the arguments both pro and con but those advocating gun control that leads to confiscation refuse to even look at the facts that prove they are wrong. So the push goes on and on and on. However, we must not give in or give up. If we give up our guns the United States of America will turn into a 1930’s Germany, Russia, Cambodia, Vietnam or any one of several other nations where during the 20th century over 170 million, totally innocent, citizens were murdered by the Government(s) because they disagreed with that government. Who among us supports such acts. Only the gun confiscation kooks. The question is do they know (have that purpose) what they are doing or is ignorance driving their mind set? I suggest ignorance!

  • John OMalia

The loss of any life is tragic. Using such incidents such as the recent tragic killings by Rodgers for political gain to me is repulsive Having veterans laying in the LA morgue for 18 months is just as repulsive. Joe has started a blog to voice his opinion, an opinion held by many others. It is called freedom of speech. And some folks don’t like his message or writing style. But rather than argue the point, they’ll revert to a personal attack on Joe and read into something he said giving it a different interpretation. Let’s be clear here, the 2nd amendment was written to protect the Constitution from dictators and tyrants, even if they be our own elected officials. It was not written for hunters or for folks wanting target practice. What good is freedom of speech, freedom to practice your faith, freedom from illegal searches or anything else for that matter if those freedoms can not be backed up with the threat of force. Our nation was founded on such force. It was held together by the force of a civil war. No one is threatening such force now but someday the use of force may be necessary in order to preserve freedom. Those who like to revert to personal attacks can only do so because the Constitution protects that right.

  • Danderand

Got to love the posting policy above that says they have no tolerance for comments containing violence, if only they held the blog to the same standards.

  • Canoe Smythe

So if I follow you correctly Joe, if you had gotten elected, you would be ok with somebody hunting you down, because as an office holder you would be passing laws and such, you know that stuff that politicians do, i.e. taking our freedoms and liberty away from us. Or are you just a sore loser? Don’t be a sore loser Joe. Being just a loser is bad enough.

  • LtRecore

Talk about being a lapdog to the politicians, you’re republican overlords clearly have trained you well. Try having some empathy towards these victims as well, you really think the survivors outrage is phony? Good god man.

  • wdcraftr

Americans have had guns since their invention. Now, all of a sudden they are evil. I mean they only have saved us from Tyranny in 1776, and from Invasion by other Countries like Japan in 1941-45. I can’t Imagine Why American’s Now want to live under a King and Dictator, as opposed to Freedom and Liberty, and an Islam worshipping King at that.. Are they looking forward to those Comfortable beds, and elegant meals arranged for them in those barbed wire internment camps that O’ has se up around this country? The ones with those Big plastic Coffins, and it’s own Guillotine? So many brainwashed, So little time.. The 2nd amendment, and God given natural rights, are for swords/guns to protect us from Govt. Tyranny, and criminals, Not to hunt for dinner. God said to sell your possessions, and Buy a Sword.. I hope you have yours..

    • Helen Wheels

      *long whistle* Woo woo alert.

    • LtRecore

Alright wd, I have to know do you really believe in the existence of fema concentration camps? I mean for real? You can look up the locations of them by the way, but you’ll find nothing there because they don’t exist.

      • Helen Wheels

If they do believe in them – then I’ve done my work, ha ha haaaaa! I’ve been scaring them for 5+ years about FEMA “re-education” camps.

I guess they don’t realize that the “coffins” have been there since the early oughts, I first saw something about them in around 2005. The “coffins” are near the CDC if memory serves. I guess we should never be prepared for any sort of pandemic. SMH, it’s not like the containers are hidden, even.

    • Helen Wheels

Again, if Obama were a dictator, you’d be dead or rotting in a prison cell by now. So really, uncurl yourself out of your fetal position and try to enjoy life a little, K, sport?

  • guy r west

we should all be concerned when our vets cant get to see a doctor . they deserve much better than this. though ill admit its not new but those waiting list is. and its worse than dispecutiabe . and as those who have not served i guess unconcern might be par for the course and may not get whats going on in this country which is a petty

    • Helen Wheels

The VA is handling 1,000,000 more vets now since ACA changed to allow them to have coverage. Before that, they had none. Might want to know what you’re talking about before you spout off. Oh and FWIW, the VA has had these same problems for 200 years. Why you all upset now?

  • Joann Roxbury

“Guns are mostly for hunting down politicians”
Maybe you should try Googling “Gabby Giffords” you idiot. See how she feels about “hunting politicians”. Hope you get a call from the Secret Service and they lock your away for inciting assassinations and threatening the life of an elected official.

    • Helen Wheels

He’s hoping one of his braindead minions act on his suggestions.

      • SFtaylen

Sadly true…and then when one does, he’ll play innocent and claim it was a metaphor…he didn’t mean it literally! Except that he truly does mean it.

        • Helen Wheels

That’s what cowardly teabaggers do… rile up the more gullible and rabid followers and hope they’ll do something.

  • Charlie McKeon Jr

Every developed country is a democracy. Every developed country—except America—has effective national regulation of the possession, storage, handling, and use of guns. That’s why the murder rate in every one of the developed countries is lower. In Britain of 553 murder victims only 39 died from gunshot wounds. Here it’s not 39 per year, it’s 33 per day. More murder victims die from gunshot wounds in the capital of the country you profess to care so much about than in all of Britain with one hundred times the population. Two thirds of murder victims here die from gunshot wounds—but you don’t give a damn.

Every month on average 46 women die from gunshot wounds from current and former husbands and boyfriends. Domestic violence assaults involving a gun are 23 times more likely to result in death than those involving other weapons or bodily force. Abused women are five times more likely to be killed if their abusers have a gun.

British patrol officers have no guns—but last year no British police officers died from gunshot wounds. In the line of duty only one died when someone ran over him. American police officers have guns. Last year “only” 33 died from gunshot wounds. Usually it’s more. Last year British police officers killed no one. Every year American police officers kill by the hundreds. Jim Fisher counted 607 in 2011.

In that year German police officers fired 85 gunshots, all but 36 warning shots. Last December on one morning in one American city—Miami—23 police officers fired at least 377 gunshots at two unarmed men. They died from gunshot wounds. Two officers got gunshot wounds from gunfire of other officers. Two eardrums of officers ruptured from the gunfire. Germany’s population is four times Florida’s.

You’re a goon with a gun who cares about nobody but you.

I saw recently that Joe got a union job. A good thing since his union will protect him from getting fired for saying stupid stuff in his private life.

  • Mutley46

WOW, look at all the liberals making stupid comments. Just read below this one to see what I mean. Not one of them idiots a$$holes know what they are talking about. American’s youth has given their lives for this country since 1776 in every war she has been involved in, whether that war was right or justified. The fact of the matter is they died. Yet I read below how you people honor this and I am sick. Yes I read the article and thought it was a great piece. When I landed at JFK in 1967 after 18 months in Turkey (and a 3 month temporary assignment to Vietnam) I was met, not as a conquering hero (which I was not) but as a killer of women and children (which I was also not). We were not given any parades or even any thanks. We were looked down on. Scorned.

Then along comes Carter who thought the military was too strong and stopped or limited the pay of the serviceman. After him things got a lot better and men and women took pride in serving again. When Obama took office he condemned all servicemen. They were useful instruments to him to be discarded when they came home. Veteran suicides are skyrocketing and Obama and his VA administrators are doing nothing about it. Veteran homelessness is at its highest and there are not moves by Obama and his VA administrators to fix it. Veterans are now trash and Memorial Day is loosing its importance.

I see the replies to Joe’s comment “Guns are mostly for hunting down politicians who would actively seek to take your freedoms and liberty away from you,” and each one of you freaks missed what he was saying. Guns are not for killing politicians like Giffords. Guns are for hunting down political tyrants like President Obama. I know you dumb left-wing liberals will not like that and too bad. Get over it. Guns are here to stay and you will never outlaw them because you need the people who have them to save your sorry asses. Tell me I am wrong. If I am then tell me when a mugger is robbing you, or a rapist holds you at gun point while he and his partner take turns on your wife and daughters, or someone enters your kids school intent on mass murder, who will save them? The police? The First Responders? Ha ha ha… you make me laugh. The will show up to bury the bodies.

    • TimJ

Do you believe anything you are saying? Or are you just trolling the weak minded gun fetishists? I think the latter.

      • Mutley46

Didn’t take long for the Idiot of leftist immorality to respond. So tell me TimJ …. what mental institution allowed you access to a computer? Think you need to take more medicine.

Yeah? Tell Gabby Giffords that to her face — or to Senator McCain.

If I were you, “Joe”, I’d be expecting a visit from the Secret Service.

  • Helen Wheels

Does Sam still have that union job?

  • WildEyedBoy

Because Joe, the people we honor on Memorial Day were members of the Military where dying is a considered outcome from their service.
Civilians such as children and room-mates etc don’t (or shouldn’t) have a reasonable expectation of death in their daily lives.
And as to deterrence, being armed may only insure the assailant is armed also and having assumed victim is too, acts accordingly.

Guns only protect with the possibility of being present, not the assurance they are present as they can then be dealt with by a) law breakers and b) Police.
If I stroll up on your armed, even if you are armed, if I assume you are armed 999/1000 I will be able to make you do just about anything I want including whistling the Theme from Gone with the Wind.
So having that gun improves your chances 1/1000.

Seriously, you have to be the most idiotic thing to come out of the Tea Party re-branding of the dregs of the Republican party other than Sarah Palin, and it’s a pretty close call at that.

It’ll be wonderful to see a population of aging racists, bigots, homophobes, and conspiracy junkies age out and see the remnants of your awful party circle the drain. The idea that a major political party could engage somebody as unintelligent, arrogant, and just all around laughable as you is amazing to me, even though it shouldn’t be.

The U.S government has a long history of denying rights to veterans … the one that comes to my mind is the disgraceful and brutal treatment veterans of WW1 received at the hands of the Hoover administration and our future WW11 heroes. The veterans who came to D.C following WW1 came to receive compensation they were promised for their war time service. The Great Depression had begun and they desperately needed what the government had promised them … cash just to survive and feed their families. They were known as the “Bonus” Army. They came to D.C, peacefully to demonstrate and protest for the compensation they were promised for their wartime service. They set up encampments, gave speeches and waited for then President Hoover to respond. He did. He sent General Macarthur, Patton, Eisenhower and others to ride into, over and fire their encampments. The active duty forces routed the defenseless veterans with a cavalry assault, armored vehicles and armed troops. The routed, homeless (many) veterans fled to soup lines, poverty and despair. No, the current VA debacle is not the first time that the federal government has turned away and brutalized its bravest citizens. The one common thread among these outrageous events is the leadership (lack) at the top. Hoover presided over and saw the beginning of a great time of tribulation for the U.S (Roosevelt continued Hoover’s disastrous policies) … Obama has trumped even Hoover and Roosevelt … he has minimalized American greatness, diminished the greatest military force in the world, attacked our fundamental values – anti Christian – pro gay, socialized our health care with Obamacare (much larger version of the VA) broken our economy … has raised the number of those on assistance to record numbers and has been the steward of a nation that will hit 18 trillion in debt … all while his greatest accomplishments are in his campaigning for cash for his socialist democrats and … I heard that he is getting better at playing golf! He is truly the first “anti American” president in the history of this great nation!

And remember he was — and is — the “President Elect” unlike George W. Bush in 2000, who was Supreme Court’s “President Select.”

      • Helen Wheels

“When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the
government, there is tyranny. The strongest reason for the people to retain the
right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against
tyranny in government.” – Thomas Jefferson

      • EnuffBull

This quotation beginning with “The strongest reason…” has not been found in any of the writings of Thomas Jefferson. First “discovered” in print in 1989, so you know it is another propaganda rewrite by the GOP. It is often seen preceded by the sentence, “No freeman shall be debarred the use of arms,” which is from Jefferson’s draft of the Virginia Constitution.
        http://www.monticello.org/site/jefferson/strongest-reason-people-to-retain-right-to-keep-and-bear-arms-quotation

        • 2War Abn Vet

          How about these …

“A free people ought not only to be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government.”- George Washington

“Arms in the hands of individual citizens may be used at individual discretion…in private self-defense.” – John Adams

The ultimate authority … resides in the people alone. … The advantage of being armed, which the Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation … forms a barrier against the enterprises of ambition.” –James Madison

          • EnuffBull

Again, please fact check your quotes. It really is a shame that you have to make up (or believe) fake quotes to make an argument. It shows you really do NOT have a foundation to stand on. Or you are being mislead, misinformed, and are a dupe.

The actual quote comes from Washington’s address to Congress on January 8th, 1790 and goes like this: “A free people ought not only to be armed, but disciplined; to which end a Uniform and well digested plan is requisite: And their safety and interest require that they should promote such manufactories, as tend to render them independent others, for essential, particularly for military supplies.” Note that the quote has nothing to do with gun rights and is clearly concerns properly equipping the military.

          • EnuffBull

            The CORRECT John Adams quote:
“To suppose arms in the hands of citizens, to be used at individual
discretion, except in private self-defense, or by partial orders of
towns, countries or districts of a state, is to demolish every
constitution, and lay the laws prostrate, so that liberty can be
enjoyed by no man; it is a dissolution of the government. The
fundamental law of the militia is, that it be created, directed and
commanded by the laws, and ever for the support of the laws.”

—John Adams, A Defence of the Constitutions of the United States 475 (1787-1788)

As David Hardy explains, “Adams was thus mindful of the uses of arms
(i.e., legitimate self-defense and militia duty) and concerned about
misuse for mob action or anarchy.” (The Second Amendment and the Historiography of the Bill of Rights, 1987)

          • EnuffBull

AND your James Madison quote is torn from this-and-that. A full quote with some of your pulltags included are here, and make more sense in context as speaking about armies and militias:

            “Let a regular army, fully equal to the resources of the country, be formed;
and let it be entirely at the devotion of the federal government; still
it would not be going too far to say, that the State governments, with
the people on their side, would be able to repel the danger. The highest
number to which, according to the best computation, a standing army can
be carried in any country, does not exceed one hundredth part of the
whole number of souls; or one twenty-fifth part of the number able to
bear arms. This proportion would not yield, in the United States, an
army of more than twenty-five or thirty thousand men. To these would be
opposed a militia amounting to near half a million of citizens with arms
in their hands, officered by men chosen from among themselves, fighting
for their common liberties, and united and conducted by governments
possessing their affections and confidence. It may well be doubted,
whether a militia thus circumstanced could ever be conquered by such a
proportion of regular troops. Those who are best acquainted with the
last successful resistance of this country against the British arms,
will be most inclined to deny the possibility of it. Besides the
advantage of being armed, which the Americans possess over the people of
almost every other nation, the existence of subordinate governments, to
which the people are attached, and by which the militia officers are
appointed, forms a barrier against the enterprises of ambition, more
insurmountable than any which a simple government of any form can admit
            of.”

Judging by the quality of your posts, they should have sent the third string. Us second stringers should be used against real competition, not bench-warmers like you.

      • ProjectThor

Thank you for rising to the bait… twit.

  • Jack

“Guns are mostly for hunting down politicians who would actively seek to take your freedoms and liberty away from you.”

If I were you, I’d expect a visit from the Secret Service or FBI for a friendly chat on why openly threatening to kill elected representatives with whom you disagree is not very nice.

    • dirtybird

To be an illegal, a “threat” has to be both explicit and direct. He threatened no one by name or position, meaning that what he said is PERFECTLY legal and he will NOT be visited by the Secret Service or any other government agents in regards to his comments.

You people need to look up the law and read some actual judicial precedents. Joe didn’t even threaten to kill ANYONE, by the way. He merely made a statement of opinion describing what purpose he believes that guns serve. That is perfectly legal and protected free speech.

Do you Leftists not blindly accept the Constitution as the supreme and infallible law of the land? I do. That makes me a better American citizen than you.

      • Jockey

They could look up the word “symbolism” too.

      • SecludedCompound

Right, which is why you cowards always veil your threats in oblique language; precisely because you are cowardly, sniveling losers that call for violence when you can’t win at the ballot box. You’re anti-democratic, you’re pro-violence, and you’re for a minority using force to implement their will over the majority.

Used to have a name for that back when my granddad fought them.

      • Helen Wheels

No Joe is very sneaky. He’s hoping one of you numbnutz will do it for him.

  • Relativicus

You’re as boring today as you were when we first heard from you. But at least your opinions are stupid and poorly thought out. So there’s that.

  • chuck connors

WOW Joe, looks like you brought out all the unthinking trolls on this one! You must have hit a nerve – and the truth hurts! God Bless America our Military men and women, our Constitution and Bill of Rights and the BRILLIANT Men that wrote it! You America hating libtards SUCK!

    • theartcat

Libtards? what are you 5 years old? It’s time you learn to debate like grown ups do.

      • chuck connors

oh really? should I start it out by calling you a racist and get it out of the way?

      • chuck connors

A Country Founded by Geniuses but Run by Idiots!

If you can get arrested for hunting or fishing without a license, but not for entering and remaining in the country illegally — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If you have to get your parents’ permission to go on a field trip or to take an aspirin in school, but not to get an abortion — you might ?live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If you MUST show your identification to board an airplane, cash a check, buy liquor, or check out a library book and rent a video, but not to vote for who runs the government — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If the government wants to prevent stable, law-abiding citizens from owning gun magazines that hold more than ten rounds, but gives twenty F-16 fighter jets to the crazy new leaders in Egypt — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If, in the nation’s largest city, you can buy two 16-ounce sodas, but not one 24-ounce soda, because 24-ounces of a sugary drink might make you fat — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If an 80-year-old woman or a three-year-old girl who is confined to a wheelchair can be strip-searched by the TSA at the airport, but a woman in a burka or a hijab is only subject to having her neck and head searched — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If your government believes that the best way to eradicate trillions of dollars of debt is to spend trillions more — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If a seven-year-old boy can be thrown out of school for saying his teacher is “cute,” but hosting a sexual exploration or diversity class in grade school is perfectly acceptable — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If hard work and success are met with higher taxes and more government regulation and intrusion, while not working is rewarded with ?Food Stamps, WIC checks, Medicaid benefits, subsidized housing, and free cell phones — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If the government’s plan for getting people back to work is to provide incentives for not working, by granting 99 weeks of unemployment checks, without any requirement to prove that gainful employment was diligently sought, but couldn’t be found — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If you pay your mortgage faithfully, denying yourself the newest big-screen TV, while your neighbor buys iPhones, time shares, a wall-sized do-it-all plasma screen TV and new cars, and the government forgives his debt when he defaults on his mortgage — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If being stripped of your Constitutional right to defend yourself makes you more “safe” according to the government — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If the media panders to your openly socialist leader while the IRS targets groups with dissenting views— you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If your government ‘cracks down’ on legal gun sales to law abiding citizens while secretly supplying illegal guns to Mexican drug cartels— you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots

If your local government (Chicago) outlawed gun ownership for ‘the safety of its citizens’ and now boasts the worst murder rate in the country — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

        What a country!

How about we give God a reason to continue blessing America?

    • Helen Wheels

No he’s just today’s fun boy.

  • Father Dacius

Stick to your guns Joe. The unwashed know not what they do.

  • Sarah Conner

    Nicely put,Joe…I couldn’t agree more…

    • KarenJ

Thank God you and that loser are a tiny deranged minority in this country.

      • PT

KarenJ, To support the following makes YOU the deranged one, and hopefully a very tiny minority in this country.

        • Dan Lee Uhl

Perhaps right-wingers should think twice before supporting wars of choice, if they care about vets. But no, right-wingers hate veterans, as evidenced by their votes against increasing vets benefits. They love to talk the talk, but are too perfidious to ever walk the walk.

          • Jim McCormack

Democrats voted 100% for both wars.

          • ei-g1

            …based on Republican lies. FTFY

          • Jim McCormack

WHERE THE HELLIS THE SITATION ON THAT ONE ?

          • Mutley46

Demoncrats started almost every war, too. World War I, World War II, Korean War, Vietnam, and because of the weak actions of a certain Demoncrat President, a Republican had to go to war.

          • Jim McCormack

Spot on Mutley. I fought in Korea . Our job was to kill Communist . We did. Now the White House is full of them.

          • William_C_Diaz

You are also a complete knee biting moron, your service notwithstanding. Let me guess, you were a ‘Marine’ right?

            Have a great day!

          • William_C_Diaz

            You are an idiot.

            Have a great day!

          • Mutley46

If you have nothing to contribute other than calling me an idiot without explaining yourself, you only show how ignorant you gun haters really are. Either contribute or shut the pie hole for you make it hard for one to figure out which is your a$$hole and which is your face.

          • PT

To use your unsound logic. You liberals hate schools seeing as how none of you manage to have an educated thought.
Which bill(s) are you referring to? Broad statements, the key to liberalism, allows you to deny lies, as you are never specific.

        • Helen Wheels

Yes, the Bush administraiton. After 911 they barricaded a lot of the area. But but but OBAMA!!!

          #BENGHAZI

        • William_C_Diaz

You are just another small minded racist ignorant weasel who is unwilling to recognize the impossibility of the President doing much of anything due to GOP intransigence or the role of ignorant racists such as yourself in supporting the people that make this country ungovernable.

While I dont know Gen Shinseki personally, I did serve under him and know his reputation among the ‘troops’. This is a man that was first in his class in everything he ever did, among the most dedicated and competitive people in the world and kept a spotless record of accomplishment and success while doing so. There couldnt be a better man for the job and if he cant fix it, that is how screwed up the system (and the GOP in Congress) is, not that man.

So the long and the short of it is, you are so ignorant you shouldnt be allowed to have an opinion, but get one anyway, lol.

          Have a great day!

          • PT

First, I checked with my black wife, I’m white. She fails to see your racist comment, just figures you are another idiot (her word) that has to resort to name calling. I highly doubt you seriously served, easy claim, hard to disprove because of anonymity of the internet. Being good at one thing, is far from being good at another. Obama is good at lying to everyone, but horrible at being a president.
YOUR president promised improvements in the VA during his 2008 election run. I’m sure you will question that, but use google. Google will confirm the liar in chief made such promises. For the first 2 years Obama had a majority in the House and Senate and could write his own ticket. Please explain how the GOP obstructed your messiah’s attempts to reform the VA? Now that I have made you out to be the stupid idiot you are, too bad. If in fact you did serve, for what country? Obviously, by your own statement, I am not entitled to the first amendment! I really served OUR country, and will support your right to be stupid, AND post your lies, and idiotic opinions. It is assured you by the rights that I fought for. Unfortunately the Supreme Court has ruled tha you have the right to lie about military service, something I do not agree with. Yet being the law of the land I FOUGHT FOR, will support it. You sadly are still worthless.

      • Sarah Conner

        LOL…

      • Jockey

I thought Leftists didn’t believe in God.

        • ei-g1

Another lying meme that you were taught.

          • Jockey

Isn’t this the Name they call out when having prison sex?

        • Shunk W

The Biblical Jesus was surely a card carrying socialist….So how does that make sense?

        • Owl96

          You thought wrong.

        • Helen Wheels

The first 2 words of your sentence is where you messed up

        • William_C_Diaz

I can assure you that any man who has advanced into gunfire, atheist or not, prays to God for no other reason than to keep from pissing their pants in terror.

          Even liberals like myself.

          Have a great day!

          • Jockey

We call those Foxhole Christians. It’s funny when secularists invoke God. When they are about to die, when they hit their thumb with a hammer, and when someone miraculously locates their G-spot.

          • Helen Wheels

That’s another atheist myth – the foxhole thing. We just roll our eyes.

          • Jockey

Children do a lot of that.

          • Helen Wheels

Adults do it, too. Especially when stupid baggers post their idiotic ramblings.

      • Helen Wheels

I’ll say. They sure scream and kick and throw tantrums enough to make people think they are a bigger group. But look at how many showed up at OAS. What, like 300? LOL

    • roooth

It must suck to to be such a coward that you can’t imagine living in civilian America without being armed for combat.

      • Sarah Conner

        blah,blah,blah

        • ei-g1

          translation: I got nothing.

      • dirtybird

It must suck to be such a coward you are afraid of a few pounds of chrome-plated steel, brass, and lead. I hold people like you in complete disdain.

        • SecludedCompound

That’s fine, because 90% of the country thinks you bumpkin nincompoops are a laughingstock, not to mention what the rest of the civilized world thinks about you.

Age out, already, we don’t want you around anymore.

        • Helen Wheels

Nobody cares what you think of them, I’m pretty sure.

      • Helen Wheels

And combat against nothing but imaginary Bad Guys.

        • Jim McCormack

I’m alive because of my guns.

          • Helen Wheels

Uh huh. Well, bully for you. Lots of dead kids this week because of stupid gun owner parents.

    • William_C_Diaz

My only hope is when the machines do find you to terminate your miserable existence, they first take the time to torture you through simple, basic information (which seems to be anathema to the ignorant, look it up, honey), before they put you out of our misery.

      Have a great day!

      • Helen Wheels

What makes me laugh over and over is them claiming Obama is like Hitler, as if Hitler would have allowed this kinda talk in public under his dictatorship… these guys would have been taken out long ago.

        • William_C_Diaz

Was it obvious I was making a reference to ‘The Terminator’ (the poster being Sarah Connor, lol), because loooking at it now it seems a tad crazy if you dont get the reference.

My (ex) mother in law lives in Russia, working at one of their ‘Harvard’ level schools as a professor, so I know what life is like under a repressive, corrupt, autocratic regime without being old enough to remember the Nazis. Hell everyone knows what happens in a fascist government, journalists die horrible deaths from Polonium or Thorium poisoning. Here they get 5-8 digit paychecks and get to call the President names. There they live in constant fear of revenge by a man that is a 2nd generation KGB agent with both murder and torture experience on the books. Here they face a community organizer that cant pass a law that 90% of Americans want.

          Proportionality isnt their strong suit.

          Have a great day!

          • Helen Wheels

            Great points!

  • Joseph T.

Oh, Joe, you really are the gift that keeps on giving, aren’t you?

    • Helen Wheels

He really is. I almost can’t wait to see what he’ll say next! This one was scarily close to an Onion article.

  • http://gripernews.blogspot.com Wisco

Wow, you really are just a murderous psycho aren’t you?

Actually, this looks a lot like attention seeking behavior. It’s not fun when your fifteen minutes of fame run out and you go back to be an ordinary opinionated, uninformed blowhard, rather than a famous opinionated, uninformed blowhard, isn’t it?

I’m sure you’ll get used to it. Bye Joe.

    • KarenJ

He learned this behavior from the queen of narcissism and victimhood, Sarah Palin, who seems to have an insatiable need for attention. Remember what she said and did after Rep. Gabby Giffords was shot in the head, and 6 people died in Tucson a couple of years ago? Sarah Palin made a video claiming SHE was the victim, of “blood libel”.

Just wait. The @RealJTP is going to whine about his hints of assassination being misunderstood if enough pushback from angry, horrified Americans piles on his bald head.

      • PT

Sure you are not referring to Obama? Narcissistic personality disorder so bad in Obama, he couldn’t even honor Maya Angelou death’s without including a picture of himself.

        • originalmouse

yeah, because every image you see of Obama is HIS doing. he has absolute control over ALL forms of media except for fox news… pull your head out.

          • PT

You might be right, maybe Obama doesn’t even know Angelou died, he’ll claim he just learned it on the news and tomorrow’s news he will see the narcissistic photo used of himself. Lucky for you guys, the news is there to tell him what he is not doing. Now how do YOU explain the narcissistic photo Obama used in memorializing Rosa Parks? About what I thought, you lose.

        • Helen Wheels

I wasn’t aware that Obama is his own photographer. Now that is one talented guy.

          • wright2665

Obviously your kind of “man”! Go for him sweetie …I heard he is stepping out on FLOTUS on a regular basis!

          • Helen Wheels

Are you jealous? Sounds like it. And please stop your addiction to tabloids *rolling eyes*.

          • Saltporkdoc

            One word…”selfie”

          • Helen Wheels

Oh did Obama do selfies of himself and Maya? I’d love to see those.

          • Independentrd
          • PT

You libtards are amazing. So many excuses for a worthless pos. Please explain to us why Obama is so incompetent that he has absolutely no say in what is released by his administration. Allegedly as the leader of the USA, one would think he might have even a small say in what is released on his behalf. So why is he only learning of such, on the evening news? I know I control most of the uses of my image. Just more proof that Obama is unfit for his position.

          • Daniel Petty

You conservaturds are so predictable… You use the same mindless garbage. You forgot Benghazi Benghazi Benghazi.

The great thing about Tea Partiers is that they’re so stupid they’ve convinced themselves that they’re the smart ones.

          • wright2665

No, really those that comment about movements without first having attended or discovered what the movement is about are the really and truly … to coin the descriptive (probably all you can manage) adjective you used … STUPID! If the shoe fits wear it! If the shoe is too small – too large … try fitting yourself into a straight jacket the next time. People of your ilk are the like minded “simpletons” that protest against commencement speakers who are too far center or too far to the right of bigoted, ideologically “pure” souls who can’t tolerate opinions other than their own. This is usually due to the fact of “close” mindedness or a total lack or appreciation of what the Constitution of the U.S. allows for … people like you who are allowed to call people stupid simply because their views differ from yours. I heard that in China … to get along … everyone has to share the same views … maybe you should try it instead of knocking Tea Party for merely attempting to secure and protect the U.S Constitution … which you are so fond of taking advantage of with our guarantees enumerated in the First Amendment. Try reading that for once!

          • Shane Perkins

You do realize the 1st Amendment only gives you the freedom to not get arrested for speaking out against the government right? It really doesn’t give you freedom to say what you want when you want with no repercussions. If you really think Obama is going to take the guns as you all have been saying for the past 6 years, when is his master plan going into action? He has actually expanded places you can take guns into. If Obama is a socialist, he is the worst socialist of all time. I have also heard him described by your ilk as a fascist as well. That makes literally no sense, one cannot be a socialist and a fascist. It is impossible. One’s head would explode trying to attempt it.

          • Independentrd

Obama has done nothing to increase where you can take firearms. It was the congress and states fighting Obama’s edicts. Obama’s goal and that of the left is to remove private ownership of firearms piece by piece, while claiming the opposite. They call for sensible laws, yet we have far more than needed to prevent all these murders…If the criminals and nuts would obey them.

Yet the left’s approach is to discredit the source,or demonize and slander the messenger. Like the unions it’s intimidation, slander, and threats. They are guilty in spades of what they accuse others of doing.

Wright2665: At least the trees are doing/providing something useful.

          • http://gripernews.blogspot.com Wisco

I know exactly what the Tea Party movement was about. The Koch brothers showed up with buses and said, “How many of you sore losers want a free ride to a gripe party?” The Tea Party is the answer to that question.

Doubt me? This is what the Tea Party looks like without the free bus rides: http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/operation-american-spring-fails

          • William_C_Diaz

The ‘Tea Party’ is a bunch of ignorant racists without a clue as to what is going on in the world around them, yet are free from shame due to ‘Dunning-Kreuger’ disease.

I have seen these people ‘in action’ and even asked them simple questions about things that they are completely and entirely unable to answer, because it isnt part of their script or talking points. One of the ways I make my money is teaching at the college level and as such cannot be bullshat on a topic that I am even passingly familiar with.

Your comments are as ignorant and deluded as the people you are defending, no real surprise there, as you are one of them. I am not calling you ‘stupid’ because you opinion differs, one of my best friends is as hard core a right winger as one can be, while still being a smart guy and being able to defend his viewpoints with facts is the reason is why we are still friends (he is also not a hypocrite, a common failing of you and yours). I think you (plural) are stupid, because in a world with ready access to even the most obscure facts, you (plural) insist on ignorance of the most pernicious and intractable nature. An example of this is the huge Venn overlap of people who support the ‘Tea Party’ and those who believe that the world is ~6k years old, a common belief of the ignorant and religious fanatics.

I find it laughable that you accuse ‘us’ (liberals) of not knowing or having read the Constitution when all of us have, if at no other time than during our public school educations. I can get into law school for free and Georgetown is willing to make me that offer (I rock the casbah on tests, lol) and guarantee you if I take that seat in an ‘L1′ class, I will be loaded for bear. You and yours arent willing or even able to do that kind of scholarly ‘skull sweat’, or it would have showed up in the last 5 years that you and your fellow racists have worked to make this country ungovernable. It is a risible claim that you and yours hold the only key to understanding the Constitution, when your ignorance spans every subject known to man, literally.

It is even funnier that you accuse a man who was head of the Law Review at Harvard, who specialized in and even taught ‘Con Law’ at a ‘Top 12′ institution, Univ of Chicago School of Law, of not knowing the Constitution. Really, you are a pitiful and pathetic group who would be funny if you didnt screw up everything in the US, as it stands your ignorance is dangerous to us all.

            Have a great day!

          • wright2665

To you and the others of like mind … I stand on what I said and you and your ilk be “da%**d! One would have more effect talking to the trees than to Obama supporters … at least the trees would just there and listen … who knows they might even learn something. If you insist on labeling those who disagree with you … you better start labeling the military, veterans, guard etc. because we, overwhelmingly, disagree with just about everything this president and his “supporters” stand for. Of course there are always a few … even veterans etc. that side with him … we are still working on them.

          • Helen Wheels

BTW, I’m not an Obama “supporter”. I didn’t vote for him. I’m a Green. Soooo…. maybe stop making dopey assumptions?

          • chuck connors

Who BTW is making ASSumptions, I see you and your ilk spewing? well I guess being a greenie that would put you square in ovomits camp and yes I understand “supporter” is the wrong word in your PC world, I believe you call yourselves “Blind Zealots” now right?

          • Helen Wheels

Obama is a centrist, nowhere near a green. But keep your FauxNoise ideas anyway.

          • Independentrd

If you see Obama as a centrist you must have graduated long after I did.

          • Ike Rye Avery-Thyme

LOL Dude; the Democratic Party is center right-party; many of their positions are to the right of most first world Conservative Parties

Anyone who thinks that the Democrats are “Socialists” or “Communists” or “Marxists” when we have record corporate profits and record stock market highs is an idiot.

            Marxists are anti-capitalist tard XD

          • Independentrd

The “Dude” and any one who sees the Dems as right of center has to be a recent graduate, or at least of a recent generation. Every thing is relative, but many of today’s politicians would end up doing time for what they propose and the Dems are far, far, left of center compared to the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, and even 70’s

The record profits are “in spite of”, not because of the left.

Yes, Marxist are anti capitalist and that is where many of us see the Democrats. They, and many RINOs are big government, anti capitalist and could care less about the working class. They want what the unions want: Equal pay for equal jobs. No premium foe excellence and no penalty for slackers, plus the inability to fire workers not doing their jobs.

I’ve been in jobs where excellence was not appreciated and engineered into poor positions. I quit and went to a better job. Get good grades and learn a useful trade or get a useful degree with good grades. Above all, learn good communications and writing skills. I did and had no problem getting a job even when they were scarce. A poorly written resume has cost many applicants the job they wanted. In some cases, it kept them from getting any job.

A useless degree and poor communications skills may be worse than no degree.

As a GA I taught many students and even in the stuff a first year graduate student teaches, I had many who weren’t going to make it. I had students that were seniors as business majors that weren’t suited for college. I don’t know how they ever made it in. The class was “Intro to Computer Science” for non CS majors. It was basically how to turn it on, insert a disk, run a word processor, spread sheet, paint program, and turn it off. It was a true “Blow Off” class, yet there were those who didn’t survive.

I know one guy who was a literal genius in Physics and chemistry, but his personality has had him on welfare for decades.

          • setemfree

Some of us may not be computer whizzes, But I am sure most computer whizzes would not know how to fix a car, repair a leak or run an electric line, or as far as that goes even how to defend themselves. How about to save a life threatening injury to someone. It takes all kinds to run a civilization and anyone that puts down someone else for there job are nothing but LOW LIFE, SCUM OF THE EARTH..

          • Independentrd

Your answer is a bit disconnected from the topic. It appears to be
the typical liberal response with name calling and responses
unrelated to the subject.. I haven’t seen anyone put down for their
            jobs

I was raised on a farm and yes, I can do all of those topics you
mentioned as could most of the techs where I worked. It was
necessary. That was not the point, although those traits are
quite common among maintenance technicians in industry.

No one expects a specialist, or professional to be good in all
subjects, but the more the better. My degree is in CS. I barely
survived chemistry and only a little better in Physics.

            I didn’t get a Bachelor of Science degree until I was 50.
The point is, if you want a good job, get good grades through High
School. It doesn’t take a college degree to get good jobs
although the potential is there and a degree in the right subjects
helps, even if just an associates degree. That puts you half way to a
4 year degree for a lot less money.. Good grades through high school
show ambition and ability to learn. Straight A’s in useless
subjects will get you nothing but a large debt.

Science, mechanics, math, and the ability to communicate ideas
accurately and in simple language are important. When I was a
tech for over 26 years I picked up jobs on the side writing technical
articles in plain language because I could explain technical subjects
            in plain language.

I also took night courses at the local community colleges.

Being able to communicate accurately and politely is one of the
most necessary skills you can have in any profession. It is a skill
neglected by so many students that colleges and universities
            implemented “Writing across the curriculum.”
So what ever major you choose you end up writing papers about it.
Many students didn’t just have trouble, they could not put complete
sentences together. Personality is also important. After
becoming a professional, I saw first hand the degradation in the
quality of high school and college graduates. It used to be,
what do I have to offer that will get me a job. Now it’s, what can
you offer for me to take a job. That is usually where our
interest in the candidate goes South and why a lot of candidates are
without a job. It’s currently a sellers market..

The point is that with a good education base you should not be
stuck with “a job”. If the going gets tough the tough
            get going.

The Dems, and Obama are far left of center as is our current
educational system. The Republicans who I also find fault with
are unwilling to compromise among themselves. If they
could, there would be few Democrats in office as the Republicans far
            outnumber the Democrats.

The entitlement mentality needs to go!

          • setemfree

You call me a liberal. I call you one conceited hip o crit. To start out with some of us were not fortunate enough to go to college so stick that in your ass. But I was always able to have a job. Because I believed in myself. when asked if I could do the job I always said yes because of smart people like you would always have to show me how you not only wanted it done but how to do it. So I always got the job.

          • Independentrd

My, touchy aren’t we. Typical liberal response is to belittle others, their successes, and call them names. I have neither belittled any one, nor called them names.

Let’s, see now… How fortunate was I? we weren’t exactly rich…More like my mother made most of our clothes. No one gave me my education, I earned it. I took correspondence courses in electronics and managed to get a job as a tech two years after graduating from high school.

I worked at that for NEARLY 30 YEARS and took night courses now and then at community colleges and universities. Working as a tech I was expected to know mechanics and electronics well enough that no one had to show me how to do the job. Many companies do not expect to have to show new hires how to do more than specifics. Several large companies around here even require an associates degree for production people.

I quit work after the children were grown and gone and I had made enough to go to college with out going into debt after nearly 30years . Note, I waited until I could afford to go to college before starting and earned a GA for my masters at age 50.

IOW, I didn’t grouse about the hand I was dealt, nor was I jealous of those who had more or a head start. I learned to judge people by their actions, not income or education. Perhaps I was fortunate to have been born poor. It taught me to use the ambition, foresight, and work ethic to live a life style that allowed me to marry, raise a family, and still save enough to go to college when I was nearly 50.

I could have continued as a tech until retirement and probably had more money. After all, there was the cost of the university plus lost wages for over 4 years, which made college really expensive. My daughter had two degrees before I had one. I didn’t want part of what others had earned, I wanted to get there on my own and even at 50 I enjoyed learning.

Let’s face it, the world owes us (YOU or me) absolutely nothing and our country owes us nothing save what’s in the constitution. What we get and what we deserve is what we earn. We should help the less fortunate whether their problems are physical or mental, but we owe nothing to those who are able (physically and mentally) and do not apply themselves.

Kids need to learn that an education is a privilege, not something to be endured, which is why many charter schools do so well compared to public schools.

Entitlement programs just teach people how to become dependent on the government. Had I been able to invest what SS stole with the same returns I had with small investments, I could have retired rich.

I’ll repeat, Obama, Holder, Reid, and Pelosi are the epitome of what’s wrong in this country.

The multimillionaires and Billionaires owe me nothing of what they earned as long as they earned it legally. Nor do I expect or want it. Yes, I’d like to make that much, but one person’s earnings do not necessarily, or even normally reduce what others can make.

It’s time those not suited for college recognized the fact and didn’t run up a huge debt, earning easy but useless degrees. If they did, colleges would not be able to keep increasing costs to students. Academic achievements in high school should be tied to student loans just as scholarships are. Loans (and credit) are to easy to get!

Gone are the days when any degree gave you a hand up. Now you normally need a degree specific to the field you want to work in. A bachelors degree now takes the place of high school 4 decades ago. IOW it gives you the basics to learn a profession or work in a field.

I don’t know if you have noticed, but your views are a very small minority on this blog.

They are certainly more in tune with the average voter than the Republicans who can’t agree among themselves

I am a proud veteran, blogger – tea party member, Oath Keeper, NAGR, NRA … I served my country … if you served “bully” for you … but if you haven’t … the only reason you can sit at your computer and bs is because of veterans and men and women who served this country so …. go crawl under under a bridge/log … whatever strikes your fancy and commune with the rest of troll entourage!

          • William_C_Diaz

It is a shame that given your good start as a veteran, you became such a stupid and evil pissant. I say that in all sincerity, because my bond with vets is above all else than family (my children), but you are willing to support evil forces that if given any chance to control the nation again, would finish the job of destroying it they began during the Reagan years, were not going to be buddies.

I still think it was a bad idea to not have killed anyone at the Bundy ranch who threatened Federal officers with weapons, using long rifle marksmen and would personally have no problem being one of them, despite my lifetime (even serving as an 11bp, with a CIB) abhorrence of killing. The people who are the greatest danger to the US isnt the Russians, the Chinese or al-Qaeda ,it is you and the causes you support.

We should be friends, but we are enemies, because you have chosen poorly. It is in everything you say and everything you say you do and I have no reason to doubt you, may God have mercy on your miserable, ignorant soul.

WOW! You are a SICK fuc^! You wish violence on US Citizens! I think William_C_Diaz you need to be investigated. So it is OK for federal agents to antagonize, taze and harm US citizens? So I was debating on whether to reply to “joe six-pack” because if I respond I am perpetuating his 15 mins longer. But what really caught my eye was

“Guns are mostly for hunting down politicians who would actively seek to take your freedoms and liberty away from you.”

So a guy who was running for a government position is condoning “hunting” and possibly killing people who do not sure your point of view? Great job “Joe” keep thinking like that!

      • Helen Wheels

The teabaggers like threatening political figures with guns. Sort of like the OAS douchetwaddles. Makes ‘em feel like big tough men.

        • wright2665

Sweetie … we are the ones with the ammo and the guns… we use them legally, for hunting, for shooting etc. If this whole enchilada comes crashing down … I like our chances a whole lot better … you know talk is cheap but action … volumes over rhetoric!

You spew your mouth now back up what you say libtard! If you can read I would like you to read the below information.

          “liberalism is mental illness”.

The only thing this country needs is to rein in crazy batshit brained
          democrats.

          Subject: Sensible Gun Control>>>>.

In 1865 a Democrat shot and killed Abraham Lincoln, President of the United
          States.

In 1881 a left wing radical Democrat shot James Garfield, President of the
United States who later died from the wound.

In 1963 a radical left wing socialist shot and killed John F. Kennedy,
          President of the United States.

In 1975 a left wing radical Democrat fired shots at Gerald Ford, President
          of the United States.

In 1983 a registered Democrat shot and wounded Ronald Reagan, President of the United States.

In 1984 James Hubert, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 22 people in a McDonalds restaurant.

In 1986 Patrick Sherrill, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 15 people
          in an Oklahoma post office.

In 1990 James Pough, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 10 people at a GMAC office.

In 1991 George Hennard, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 23 people in a Luby’s cafeteria in Killeen , TX.

In 1995 James Daniel Simpson, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 5
          coworkers in a Texas laboratory.

In 1999 Larry Asbrook, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 8 people at a
          church service.

In 2001 a left wing radical Democrat fired shots at the White House in a
failed attempt to kill George W. Bush, President of the US.

In 2003 Douglas Williams, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 7 people
          at a Lockheed Martin plant.

In 2007 a registered Democrat named Seung – Hui Cho, shot and killed 32 people in Virginia Tech.

In 2010 a mentally ill registered Democrat named Jared Lee Loughner, shot
Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and killed 6 others.

In 2011 a registered Democrat named James Holmes, went into a movie theater and shot and killed 12 people.

In 2012 Andrew Engeldinger, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 7 people in Minneapolis.

In 2013 a registered Democrat named Adam Lanza, shot and killed 26 people in a school in Newtown , CT.

As recently as Sept 2013, an angry Democrat shot 12 at a Navy ship yard.

Clearly, there is a problem with Democrats and guns. Not one NRA member, Tea Party member, or Republican conservative was involved in any of these shootings and murders.

SOLUTION: All Democrats should undergo psychoanalysis and It should be illegal for Democrats to own guns.

          • Helen Wheels

Timothy McVeigh – Registered republican killed 168 people including 19 children

Dannie Baker, a former Republican campaign volunteer shot five Chilean immigrants in Florida. Those who knew him said he was obsessed with the fear that illegal immigrants were taking over the country.

On May 31, 2009 Dr. George Tiller was murdered in his own church by a right-wing “pro- life” gun man who decided to express his belief in the sanctity of human life by executing a medical doctor.

Did I fail to mention Ted Bundy, Jeffery Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy were also registered Republicans.

Thinking that Republicans would not mass murder is such an ignorant way of thinking that that I really hope you do not have a gun.

So, all your reasons to own a gun mostly come down to your own cowardice. You also assume every soldier who ever died in service of America agrees with your extreme minority position, which disgusts me. Smash your face with a brick, again and again and again and again.

      Most do.

Lol, youre almost as funny as you are ignorant. I am a veteran and hang out with them, especially over Memorial day, its what we do and met some great people during my twice yearly trips to graveyards to thank God that I walked away alive when better men than I ended up dead.

During this Monday, I had the opportunity to question some vets about Sen Richard Burr and other issues (not specifically ‘Joe the Plumber’, but certainly issues he supports) and not a single one over more than 100 had anyhting but disgust for you and yours, other than those actively involved in the Tea Party or its fellow travelers. That number was 4, around 2%.

Your ignorance is boundless, because the truth is all about you and you would still walk a mile to drink a lie.

        Have a great day!

PS And if think that an ex-Air Force toilet plunger operator is going to ‘make a canoe’ out of the head of an ex-paratrooper with a CIB, you obviously have never met me in person or you would recognize the challenges such a boast might represent.

          • SeanRobinson

You have not actually offered a single fact, hypocritical dolt. Freedom of speech doesn’t mean that no one is allowed to make fun of you for saying something gross or stupid, baby-man. Go back to your crud life and hope for a heaven that you will never enter because of your cruelty and ignorance.

  • Cooleemee Edd

Thanks! We should never underetime the danger from our home-grown communists and socialists. I consider myself “armed and compent” for the eventual need to take back our country and our rights from the enemies of God and the Constitution.

    • KarenJ

In order to do that, Dems must sweep the table in November. We must take back our country from the wingnut Tea Partiers and the corporatists who are ruining half the states of the Union with their pollution, open mining, fracking, and oil spills. Look at what Jindal has done to Louisiana, and Perry has done to Texas. People have methane in their water wells and coming out their faucets, and the bayous of LA are dead because oil companies have dug canals through them. So much for the fishing industry.

    • roooth

I just love it when cowards who are too afraid to live in civilian America without being armed for combat start talking real big about what they’re going to do with their big guns.

Funny how “take back our country” always comes down to gun nuts threatening to kill other Americans. Because they think they’re such patriots, they arrogantly believe its up to them to decide when its OK to start shooting other Americans.

That’s you, isn’t it? You think you’re so much better than other Americans that you can be the judge, jury and executioner and shoot Americans. Is that how your America works? Doesn’t sound very Constitutional to me.

You big talkers with your big guns never talk about keeping America safe – all you talk about is how you’re going to kill other Americans so you can make everyone do things your way.

You are so arrogant you really think you’re more important than the rest of us, you really think your gun gives you more rights than everyone else.

      You’re no patriot. You’re a thug with a gun.

    • Dan Lee Uhl

  • Undecider

Could someone name just one legitimate case where “our” military has “defended” “our” Rights? Yes, they swear an oath but do they really? The serving military is busy carrying out the orders of the New World Order as it presides over that thing called government in Washington, D.C. This has been the case for easily over 100 years. These “world wars” we’ve had the pleasure to experience were concocted by the banksters for their personal gain and we had plenty of propaganda dished up to make the whole thing palatable.

No, we wouldn’t be speaking either German, Russian or Japanese.. if the troops hadn’t valiantly fought off the enemies. There never was any serious threat to the US land mass.

As a person with plenty of experience with the military (in many forms), I can’t say there was any defending of rights. The troops are taught to hate people who protest and gun them down if given the chance. They were programmed, in Iraq/Afghanistan to confiscate firearms from people defending their land and in many cases, perform torture. I don’t recall too many troops protesting these occurrences.

If the troops were true defenders of liberty, wouldn’t they stand up for the rights of people around the globe? Well, instead, they’ve partaken in what we could call and assault on the sanctity of our rights but in different climes and places. How could this be? They were brainwashed since a young age and knew nothing about government tyranny both before and during military service.

In short, the troops do not defend our rights. At least, not while in uniform. They won’t so long as they are led to believe they have no rights while in uniform. They will join the ranks of the defenders of rights the day they stop following unconstitutional orders and take it upon themselves to join protest marches and challenge politicians. A soldier defending our rights is the one who tells the President what he thinks while that person visits the military facility. Soldier defending our rights are the ones organizing and leading open carry demonstrations. However, these things would never be done in an official capacity.

Therefore, let’s cut it out with the hero troop worship. Until they stand with the people, they are not defending our rights.

      Very well put. Thank you.

    • KarenJ

Yeah, you guys leading open carry demonstrations are REAL popular at places like Chipotles, Jack in the Box, Blue Mesa Grill…

Look at what these morons did (not tell anyone they were conducting a demonstration – you’d think they’d be required to file a request with city hall): http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2014/05/06/its-unlikely-a-group-of-open-carry-activists-expected-this-to-happen-when-they-went-to-eat-at-a-fast-food-restaurant/

well gee, I think they stood up to Hitler. I’m pretty sure he would have taken away YOUR rights if given the chance. That was a good thing wasn’t it? but i’m sure that doesn’t count in your mind troll.

    • ProjectThor

      And you served when?

      • Dan Lee Uhl

That used to be the case, until right-wingers broke the military with wars of choice. During the Bush years the standards were dropped so low to get warm bodies into uniforms, gang-bangers and people with serious criminal records were allowed in. You view is anachronistic and not valid after republicans used the excuse of 9/11 for war profiteering. Bush and Halliburton, PUT politics in the foxholes, by getting huge contracts to service in-theater soldiers, and delivering uneatable food, and undrinkable water. And conservatives were silent while soldiers were being killed because “sometimes you have to go to war with the army you have,” in lightly armored Humvees. You view of the military is about ten years out of date.

  • baltzelle

Joe, I agree with all you have said! Instead of grieving for 6 dead they political used this to attack guns only even though 3 were killed with a knife and several attacked with his BMW. Truly. The killer was sick, apparently for years and no one cared enough to get him help.

We live in a country where people have to work 2 to 3 jobs just to make ends meet. Who has time to care for their children? All social programs, healthcare, education has been cut in half for generations in this country, why? Because Repubs deregulated banks, gutted unions and good old Mitt wrote the book on how to move your company to China. It’s all about the money. The GOP doesn’t give a damn about social services, which was once one of the things that made this country great. They love to give charity while shoving Christianity down our throats. For some reason repubs can’t be convinced most people don’t want hand outs. So which is it, we all fend for ourselves or do we take care of our people? It’s not that people don’t care. It’s just that your credit score is more important than anything else, no one has time to care anymore, thanks to the tread mill the repubs put us on due to two unnecessary wars we’ll be paying for, for years to come.

And you think the Demotards are any different? Everything you said can be said about the modern Democratic Party… There aren’t two parties anymore… there is just one

        • Dan Lee Uhl

Then why did republicans stage 50 votes to overturn Obamacare? Your “both sides do it,” just crashed and burned. So false equivalence is all that’s left in your small bag of rhetoric?

          • ProjectThor

Zzzzzzz… Oh, you were talking to me? I thought you were bumping your gums because you liked the sound of your nasaly voice…

        • theartcat

Demotards? Does your mom know you’re playing on the computer? Grow up!

        • SecludedCompound

          No it can’t, you idiot.

    • roooth

that’s right – absolutely make sure you ignore the thousands who die because of guns in America every year – more than all the other industrialized nations COMBINED. But, DON’T THINK ABOUT THAT. Think of a silly distraction – it’s the knife, yeah, he stabbed people too, so never mind all the people who get shot. Besides, Benghazi! Yeah, and Eric Holder! Whatever it takes, don’t think about all those dead, slaughtered children. Don’t think of the baby who was shot today by her brother – never mind that! We need human sacrifices for our guns – every good gun nut knows that! Think of a big shiny gun. Quick!

The killer isn’t the only one in need of psychiatric care. Joe and his sick supporters need help too.

      • Jim McCormack

More people are killed with hammers than guns.

        • Shunk W

No they aren’t. Don’t be stupid. You guys will believe anything.

        • notjenna

If that were true (spoiler alert: it’s not) you could also say that more nails are driven and more things are built using hammers. What productive use are your guns put to?

        • Helen Wheels

Everything Fox Noise taught you is a lie.

          • Jim McCormack

Don’t watch it. Wish you’d give a specific . very broad statement.

          • Helen Wheels

I’m not gonna list hundreds of thousands of lies. Check out Media Matters, they keep track.

          • Jim McCormack

I’m not going to list the millions of lies from Media Matters and Communist supported by Soros. Wake up kid.

        • Jack E Raynbeau

          Dd you really write that?

    • Owl96

So do you agree that guns are mostly for hunting down politicians who want to take away your freedoms? I thought guns were mostly for hunting game.
