A few days ago we told you about a New Jersey teen captivated by 1 World Trade Center, he got past the wall of security — and a sleeping guard — making it all the way up to the spire. Six months earlier, people were jumping off 1 World Trade.
Gothamist.com is reporting:
Now, in a possible effort to make clear that just because access to the roof of 1 WTC is there doesn’t mean it should be taken advantage of, police have arranged for those skydivers to turn themselves in to face criminal charges.
It’s not clear how cops identified the suspects. The Daily News reports that the jumpers—Andrew Rossig, James Brady and Marco Markovich—are all being charged with burglary, as is Kyle Hartwell, who didn’t jump but is accused of keeping watch from the ground.
