The 2nd Amendment Is Good For America

How fortunate we are to live in a “free” country! Perhaps you smile when you read this, thinking of the amount of taxes you pay each year, and perhaps we should indeed say, how fortunate we are to live in a country governed by principles which allow us to rule ourselves: We the people, by the people and for the people.

We have, however, seen some of these freedoms be eroded by a minority of people who hate the very rights on which our country was founded. The second amendment right is one which has been challenged again and again, brought before the Supreme Court on numerous occasions, and as recently as 2008, it continued to be upheld exactly as written.

“A well-regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed.”

From 2008 until 2013, more than 200 cases have been brought before the Supreme Court and all of them were ruled in the favor of the existing 2nd Amendment verbiage.

Law makers who disagree with gun rights and the 310 million guns owned by U.S. citizens (the FBI estimates nearly one gun for every man, woman and child in our country), have enacted nearly 20,000 state and local laws to either prohibit or limit our rights. Yet our Supreme Court, the same group of Justices who rule so liberally on other matters, continue to stand firm on the 2nd Amendment. Local laws may limit when and where we can carry, but they have been unable to take away that right to do so!

eric and em B&WWe have also seen a huge boom in gun sales and accessories in the five years since Barack Obama has been in office. In the last five years, according to FBI statistics and criminal background checks for gun purchases, more than 67 million firearms were purchased. That is more than was sold in the seven years preceding his election combined! The reason is because he has been so outspoken on gun bans, although he has yet to enact any law challenging our rights.

Stirn Holsters is a small, independent and family owned company who believes in the right to bear arms. Growing up I watched as my grandfather and father built their own construction company; my brother and I joined my father in our family business; my parents have encouraged and exemplified the free enterprise system we have in the USA. Now as I continue with these same principles of hard work, honesty and integrity, I am proud to be a business owner who believes in the liberties upon which our country was founded. We believe in the principles of God and the freedom to make choices, including owning, carrying and concealing our weapons. We believe in the Constitution and the rights that the 2nd Amendment affords us.

We hand-make every holster from high quality leather, custom mold it to the weapon of your choice and provide a money-back guarantee: If your Stirn Holster isn’t the most comfortable holster you have ever worn, we will refund your money. We know that we are privileged to live in this free country. And as long as we the people continue to take a stand, our country will remain free for our children, our grandchildren and the generations that follow.  Please take time to visit our web site at www.stirnholsters.com
