Failed Obamacare Democrat promoted: Train-wreck Baucus to China

0

baucusSenator Max Baucus (D-MT), one of the 59 Democrats that ignored the wishes of his conservative constituents and surrendered his integrity when Bill Clinton made a last-ditch lobbying trip for President Barack Obama on Obamacare’s third vote, will be nominated as Ambassador to Red China next year by the latter.

Baucus famously referred earlier this year to the (un)Affordable Care Act, that wouldn’t be causing the cancellation of policies that he and Obama said they could keep, as a “train wreck”. For that, he and other faux “blue dog Democrats” aka so-called conservative Dems like West Virginia’s Joe Manchin, get to have their cake and eat it to with the MSM including continuously-fooled members of the conservative media.

But here at JoeForAmerica, we know that Baucus, Manchin and every Democrat in D.C. is a Kool-aid-drinking liberal. They voted for Obamacare, the non-Stimulus, CRs that slashed the military and judges that treat the Constitution like Charmin.

Now, after following Obama and Clintons to pass an “admittedly” flawed (so conceded Bill) ACA since you can “fix it later” (again, another epic lie from Hillary’s husband); rather than repeal Obamacare, he will run to China and continue Obama’s Apology tour and foreign appeasement policy:

“For more than two decades Max Baucus has worked to deepen the relationship between the United States and China,” the President said in a statement released by the White House.

“The economic agreements he helped forge have created millions of American jobs and added billions of dollars to our economy, and he’s perfectly suited to build on that progress in his new role,” Obama added.

Baucus said he is “humbled” by the opportunity and underscored the importance of U.S. and China’s relationship.

“The U.S. – China relationship is one of the world’s most important bilateral relationships. If confirmed, my goal will be to further strengthen diplomatic and economic ties between our two nations,” the Senator said in a statement.

“My career has been dedicated to public service. It is something I care about deeply. It’s an honor to be presented with an opportunity to follow in the footsteps of my mentor, Mike Mansfield, who worked to strengthen and improve America’s important relationships throughout Asia.”

Baucus, 72, the six-term lawmaker and chairman of the powerful Finance Committee, announced in April that he would retire from Congress at the end of next year rather than run for re-election. He was first elected to the Senate in 1978.

At Bloomberg, some think Max’s departure bodes ill for tax reform prospects:

Having converted from the dark-Dem-side in the Summer of 2001 to the GOP after two decades of liberal activism in the South, we penned Drawl and That’s all: The Myth of the Conservative Southern Democrat in the mid-2000s.

Well, Montana is south of somewhere and maybe thay have drawls; but after 37 years in Washington, D.C., we find it instructive that liberal Democrat Baucus prefers to live and work with Communists that the Obama Administration agreed to get flyover permission from over international waters, rather than return to face those upon whom he subjected to Obamacare lies.
