Charlie Sheen ‘threatens Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson

Hellraiser Charlie Sheen has joined the Duck Dynasty controversy, by ordering Phil Robertson to apogolise for his homophobic comments.

Sheen, 48, has written a lengthy piece about the star on his Twitter account, threatening Phil with a media attack and saying he is in the ‘crosshairs of a MaSheen style media beat down.’

The controversy began after homophobic extracts from Robertson’s interview for the January edition of GQ were made public.

Sheen claims he’s decided to get involved because Robertson’s comments ‘hurt’ many of his gay friends.

‘You have offended and hurt so many dear friends of mine, who DO NOT have the voice or the outreach that I do,’ Sheen begins in the letter.

‘Your statements were and are abhorrently and mendaciously unforgivable,’ he added.

But he has a fight on his hands, as Sarah Palin’s daughter Bristol has defended the ZZ Top lookalike on her blog.

She wrote: ‘Everyone needs to leave Phil Robertson alone for expressing his beliefs.

‘I think it’s so hypocritical how the LGBT [Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender] community expects every single flippen person to agree with their life style.

‘This flies in the face of what makes America great – people can have their own beliefs and own opinions and their own ways of life.’

In the GQ article, the outdoorsman was quoted as saying: ‘It seems like, to me, a vagina — as a man — would be more desirable than a man’s anus.

‘That’s just me. I’m just thinking: There’s more there! She’s got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what I’m saying? But hey, sin: It’s not logical, my man. It’s just not logical.’

When asked what he thought was sinful, Robertson replied: ‘Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men.’
