President Obama was absolutely right.

“If I had a son he’d look like Trayvon.”

Truer words you’ve not spoken Mr. President.

Trayvon VicTrayvon Martin, in case you’ve been in a cave, is a black kid who was wandering around a gated community in Florida wearing a hoodie.  A member of the local community watch group challenged him verbally.  Trayvon attacked him, knocked him down punched him in the face and was slamming his head into the pavement.  The community watch member was carrying a licensed handgun and shot Trayvon in self-defense, killing him.  Zimmerman is about 5’6”, Trayvon was 6’3” and both weigh about 180 pounds and this is what George Zimmerman looked like just before he shot Trayvon.

“So Becker,” you’re probably saying, “how was the President right?”

Easy.  Trayvon was a thug.

Trayvon FingerBarack Obama is a Chicago thug.  Trayvon absolutely was cut from the same cloth.  If Obama was 20 years older he’d have been making bombs with Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn instead of launching his first political campaign from their living room.

Lloyd Marcus pointed out Obama’s roots last year in a story about Scott Walker in Wisconsin.

The Obama administration emits a distinct “Chicago Thug” vibe.  In response to any and all opposition to Obama’s socialistic agenda, Obama and his minions have used aggressive terms such as “we will punch back twice as hard,” “punish our enemies,” “get in their faces,” and “take the SOBs out!”…to name just a few.

Obama minions include the New Black Panthers and SEIU thugs who are the enforcers — intimating voters and physically beating up black conservatives who dare be on the wrong side of Obama’s agenda.

Team Obama is using Chicago-style bullying to award Obama an undeserved second term despite half the country on food stamps, the housing market in the tank, unemployment through the roof, and skyrocketing energy prices.  Yes, four more years of Obama’s liberal-utopia-politically-correct policies is exactly what America needs.

To be re-elected, Obama is relying on class envy via crazy, absurd rants attacking the rich by VP Joe Biden to his dumbed-down base.  Obama is relying on Al Sharpton and his “we be black victims gang” to inspire enough hate in the hearts of black Americans to get them to the polls in November.

Obama operatives take no prisoners.

John Fund, at National Review, wrote this week on Obama’s roots in Chicago and the fact that ALL of his major advisors come from the Chicago political machine.

The scandals swirling around the Obama administration have many journalists scratching their heads as to how “hope and change” seem to have been supplanted by “arrogance and fear.” Perhaps it’s time they revisit one of their original premises about Barack Obama: that he wasn’t influenced by the Chicago Daley machine. You know: the machine that boosted his career and whose protégés — including Valerie Jarrett, David Axelrod, Rahm Emanuel, and his wife, Michelle — he brought to Washington with him.

Barack Obama has never left Chicago.  As Fund said, “You can take the politician away from the machine, but you can’t take the machine out of the politician.”

This is the foundation of what’s happening in Washington today:

  • The IRS (and virtually every other regulatory agency) is bullying Obama non-believers at every turn.  The administration is refusing to comment beyond some tsk-tsking.
  • The Department of Justice is going after reporters at the drop of a hat and lying about their motives under oath.  No President has ever used a 1913 national security law against the press.  Until now.
  • The Secretary of HHS, charged with implementing ObamaCare, has run out of money and is running out of time and she’s using the tried-and-true method of the Daley family in Chicago.  “Hey Mr. Businessman, cough up some cash to help out with this.”  The unsaid but implied threat is that the one asking just happens to control the regulators.

Again, Trayvon Martin is the spitting image of Barack Obama.  Thug to the core.

Those are just the tip of the iceberg.  We’re potentially in for some “interesting times.”  The big overreach may just be the attack on the EvilFoxNews reporter that contained the explicit threat of being charged with any number of national security related charges.  Even the New York Times and the Washington Post are offended.  That act may just serve to rip off the veil and get a few reporters out of the tank they’ve been in with Obama for 5+ years.

I doubt we’ll see anything that even remotely approaches “impeachment” – and I hope not – but I do believe that the goodwill with the press, and by extension a lot of low information voters, is over.  The press, an offended press, is a fearsome opponent and it’s obvious that the Obama Team doesn’t have a clue how to deal with this new animal of their own making.

We’ll see.  I’m buying lots of popcorn.
